We want to convey that the books we publish have a classic and nature oriented theme. I would love to see a font that resembles leaves or blades of grass, for example - as well as something eye-catching that will stand out from our competitors at book conventions.

I just wanted to note also that we work only on macintosh platforms, so the files would have to be compatible. Jpeg files will be fine, we just can't use anything that is exclusively for pc.

I am liking the design of #2 better than the others, and I really like the crown as part of the "Q." (That is how some of my children write their last name!) But I like the vibrant green of #6 better. Somehow, I really want to incorporate the "nature" theme a bit more - maybe adding some light blue sky with clouds or a flower or a few flowers somewhere. I'm still liking my original idea of the word "Queen" being spelled out by blades of grass - perhaps "Queen" written with blades of grass (and the crown over the "Q") with a light blue background and clouds, a few small flowers at the bottom (or not - can't decide until I see it - so maybe 2 versions here) and a border that has leaves (or flowers or a bird or something else that says "nature" I'm leaning more toward the blue sky and green than the purple, now that I am starting to see these designs. And I'm liking the oval over the rectangle. Looking forward to seeing more! Thank you for your hard work!

We are liking #8 a lot, but are thinking that maybe the writing of "Queen" is a bit hard to see on the bottom. Perhaps the letters are "growing" out of the grass? I would like to see something similar with the letters a bit easier to read, though I really like the look, and think it would look great on our banner, trailer, sign, shirts, etc. Thanks for putting so much creativity into it!

Seems that great minds really do think alike. ;o)
I was just praying about what else to include in our logo, and the Lord brought to my mind the fact that we need to have the words, "Publishers of Books for the Charlotte Mason Style Educator" in the logo somewhere, as so many times, customers have stopped by our booth at a trade show and read our current banner, which has this written on it, and said to one another, "oooohhh - this is for the Charlotte Mason style - just what I was looking for!" or something similar. "Charlotte Mason Style" is a particular style of home education that needs to be made known and not missed in our logo, so we are sure to draw the right kind of customer (the kind seeking this method) into our booth. I'm really liking all of these. It's going to be hard to choose! We are liking the "different" shape (different than the traditional rectangular banner, though to display it, we will have to think outside the box), but I am finding the yellow crowns in #11 and #12 to be a bit harder to distinguish than those in #8, #9, and #10 - though this may be just because it is so small on here - though we are loving the bright yellow sun, so maybe that color is better because it matches the sun..., but I need the words, "Publishers of Books for the Charlotte Mason Style Educator" underneath the "Queen Homeschool Supplies, Inc." part, like what I'm seeing in #2, #3, #4, and #5. If it is possible to also include our website somewhere underneath it all, www.queenhomseschool.com, that would be a bonus - though I'm not sure without seeing it if that would be TMI and overload. One of our book cover designers is wondering if these are too "preschool" looking, since we publish books for all ages - including high school - but I think the fact that they incorporate so much nature study imagery into them will win out.

I do like the looks of #17 and #18 too, but I prefer the color scheme of #16, as well as the fact that it contains our website address and the crown above the "Q."
Not liking the orange and brown in #18 as much as the more vibrant colors in #16. Brown has been our color scheme (and is still on our website, which is in the process of being switched over to "COLOR," for years. We are ready to burst out in color! ;o)

I really like #20, but prefer the vibrant colors in #16, and also prefer its crown. One of our employees stated that the "Q" in #20 resembled a mouse sitting backwards, which I can see. We want a more "royal" effect. I do like the noticeability of the website address at the top of #20 also.

Still really liking #16 and #22, but two of us (out of 8 who are on the "choosing board") are really preferring #7. It just has a look of simplicity and elegance to it. I would like to see this with the other elements added - the website address, the wording "Publishers of books for the Charlotte Mason style educator" somewhere in the design, and perhaps some more vines. While I love the vibrant colors in #16 and #22, I can't help but wonder if it gives too much of a "little kid" look to it, and will chase off our high school curriculum customers. Not sure, but I would like to see some others more similar to #7 to consider, with the additional wording mentioned, and some more nature elements woven into it.

I am linking #27, but some of the comments I am hearing from our book cover designers here are "too princess," "the 'homeschool supplies' can hardly be seen," "the blue flowers don't look good - maybe the letters should be blue and the flowers purple, or purple and yellow." Otherwise, it is going to be hard to choose.

I'm really liking #32 also - but can you do this in a serif font, like the font in #7?
