We're trying to get designers to stop submitting letterform icons. We're looking for an abstract icon that looks technical, precise, and serious. A photorealistic 3D rendering of something ideally combining science and technology.

Can you make the the vertical ring be brushed metal (silver) and the horizontal ring be a glassy blue? Both icons need to look less artificial and much more photorealistic. Think about shiny glass and metal, like the iPhone 4. We also need a more professional looking font for the company name (it's mostly the "e" in "code" that look bad.)
Also please provide versions with a white background for us to test.
