We like the simplicity of the icon as well as the styling of the text. (We'd like you to experiment with more "technological"-looking fonts for the company name, though.)
We are trying to go for a more 3D look for our logo. Things like brushed metal, polished surfaces, liquid elements, etc., will be more favorable to us. While your idea will scale down very well, at larger sizes it seems rather plain. It is also bounded in a very basic shape, a circle, and while this doesn't look too bad here, we are trying to push designers to make a really original shape for us. Then fill it with precise elements and subtle nuances, and you have our recipe for the ideal icon. Would you be willing to try this?

We do appreciate the new design. A unique shape is important to us. The font is better, too.
However, we were asking for a more 3D logo, and this one is still 2D. It also lacks any subtle detail. It is, in fact, very similar to the previous logo in terms of style, and we had some comments about that one above. Please re-read them and do some brainstorming. We really hope that you implement them in your next design.
Also, please include a version on a white background so we can make sure it still looks good.
