Quantum EdgeLogo Design Contest

Great start!!! I am going to sit down with my partners and around noon today and we will begin to give feedback. Eyefibre, wongtegal and Kanava have caught my eye immediately with their designs but I also like the idea of using the initial QE in the name as Mizan has done. So please keep them coming.

This has been a really impressive response. I like the idea of including QE in the logo as that's how we generally refer to our products. #40 caught my eye, would like to see the Q be more recognizable. Also, I'm drawn to some of the elements in #30 & #31.

I will post more indiviudal comments as I spend more time reviewing, thanks again for the excellent work - looking forward to completing our new logo.

it would be of great help in the development of your designs if you were rank the designs in order of interest... it's like food for our creative brains.

We finally got around to ranking the entries. Logo #51 (ranked #1 in this case) caught our eye because of the manner in which the QE logo was designed as we are looking to use the QE component as a computer icon. I am not in love with the fonts used in that one and would like to see something a bit more readable. #23 (ranked #4) was something else that we really like as it was simple and easy to recognize. I would like to see more of a Q in the icon (perhaps include a diagnal line that would complete the Q in the spherical shape you are using now?).

One more thing, I would like to see some different colors in #7 (ranked #5).

#58 (currently ranked #1) is appealing since we can use it as our application icon. Can you please build us some additional samples using different colors?

Liked the vibrant colors in items ranked #2, 3, and 4...

Really like the look of the font in #91, currently ranked #2

I think I may like the font used in #128 best! I am still leaning toward the QE work (the logo design, not so much the font) used by #58. The reason is that it provides the end user an icon on their desktop (remember, we make trading software) and the design lends itself to the type of business that we are in (software for the financials professional). We are also leaning towards a blue, grey, green and black motif (although I REALLY liked the coloring in #91). I hope this insight helps.

We've decided to extend this contest by 2 days. We have just not had the time to get all of us in one room together to make a decision. We are still leaning heavily towards #212 (currently ranked #1) due to its simplistic design that provides us with an easily recognizable desktop icon. I cannot express just how blown away I am by the sheer talent that is on this site. I wish we could pick multiple winners.

Thank you all for all of your hard work and truly ingenious designs. When all was said and done, wongtegal's design caught our eye the very first time we had seen it and although we wanted to be thorough and weigh out all of our options, in the end, we just went with our initial instincts. Thx again for all of your great work. You are all extremely talented!
