#1 Nice, but very generic! Not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway. Something more vintage please.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Our slogan "Local Organic Sustainable" needs to be pretty prominent. It is one of our main selling points. I would like these words to be separated by a little bee or something like that. I really like the following logos and is what I am looking for: eatwell.com and aftonfieldfarm.com. Our website is quailhollowfarmcsa.com for a feel for what we are doing. Thanks and good luck!

Hi... could you please clarify some things for your designers?

Is it correct that you do not want a quail in your logo? If so you might want to put that in your brief.

Also... you like the style of the sample logos, yes? Can you describe a little more what it is that you like about them or what from them you'd like to see applied to your own logo?

Thanks so much!

I am not absolutely opposed to using a quail on our design. I do however like the feel of our logo to be about raising organic vegetables. We are a "full circle" farm growing not only crops but small farm animals as well. The animals composted manure feeds the soil, the soil feeds the crops the crops feed the animals, the bees polinate the crops, the crops and animals and bees produce incredibly nutritious delcious food for ourselves and our community.

The main thrust of our farm is our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). I would not be opposed to seeing in the logo "Quail Hollow Farm CSA". Perhaps with Community Supported Agriculture spelled out in smaller print.
