QRU DEVELOPMENTLogo Design Contest

We do not want any designs with houses or roofs. we want our logo to represent a construction management and design firm that deals in high end residential construction. we would like a more sophisticated elegant look but still have a construction feel.
Our font we like alot but am open to new ideas. we like simple clean font and if an image is used with the words we like an abstract image or an artsy look to an image

Im liking the brighter green with the black most. not yellow but open to other color choices. Blue, red, purple

and we have been using just a word logo for years so i like the shield concepts and incorporating our hard hat logo into the new logo. love a little abstract feel to it

we are builders but we are a design and management company as well so i dont want it to have too much of a construction feel that all we do is build houses. I want to have a logo that shows our company as a large high end designer/ builder/ project management

I also thought of some of the logo having guidlines or look like old school architectual drawings where you see layout lines if that makes sense.. A blueprint feel
