I have more than few design concepts for you, so let me offer short description:
#26/#27 - my personal favorite,...contemporary, pro-looking, clean/simple play with initials,...memorable, unique!
#20/#21 - welcoming open door design concept with very positive vibe,...my second recomendation for you,...also contemporary looking, clean/simple semi-abstract design,...memorable, unique!
#25 - potentialy interesting concept with 4 abstract figures, gathering around one table, coming together, making a deal,...and forming memorable flower shaped logo icon.
#22/#23 - all around making business deals, progressive, dynamic!
#24 - similar as #22/#24, but much cleaner, and more progressive looking,...connecting people on all levels, development, growth!
Hope you'll like some of these, and if you have some suggestions for improvement on any of them, feel free to let me know (colors, fonts, layout, etc...). Thank you!
I'm glad you've recognized symbolism and branding potential behind "open door" concept,...here are few more variations on #30 and even more contemporary looking concept, using logo icon negative space on #31.
Here's also one more potentialy interesting concept on #32, incorporating bridge landmark, with leaf/tree, as symbol of growth and development,...brdge symbol also related to connecting people, uninterupted flow of people and goods.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts, so we can together take the best out of all these initial ideas! Thank you!
#39, in case you choose to stay with more traditional, obvious approach with landmark! ...since there are similar bridges all over the world, this might not be the most unique design option, so I personaly would recommend cleaner/simpler, semi-abstract, contemporary, pro-looking designs like #30, or #36,...also, brighter color options!
Hope these branding tips will be useful,...feel free to jump in with your thoughts at any time! Cheers!
While I'm still on this contest here's one idea that came to mind,...to create unified, recognizable visual identity for "chamber" website, and for your "destination" website!? Design #40 would be chamber logo, and design #36 for destination logo,...both designs are quite unique, based on satelite image of the area (interesting coast line with Islands in the bay), that was incorporated into abstract design, combined with initials.
I've offered you many options and ideas here, and I'm going to stop at this point! :)
One more concept on entry #62, and its monochromatic version on #63,...it is very important for practical use of the logo (printing, web, etc.), that it works well as monochromatic and negative space version! Hope you're getting all this! :)
