Hi there, thanks for your entry. It brilliantly simple which s great to see! Could we please see it with a more vibrant colour scheme, perhaps a less yellowy green and then a dark blue replacing the orange? While we do intend to change the colours regularly we will need it in bright colours for business cards etc.
We're having some debates here about the use of leaves because a company in a similar field with a similar sounding name has a leaf as their logo. This is the best so far though. It would be good to see some other symbols though, maybe something completely abstract, or something symbolic of what we represent... Think fresh, honest, simple, not taking itself too seriously. An idea of the types of symbols which could represent us is maybe a lighthouse, as we are in a beacon in a sea of darkness for people with food allergies. We're not convinced a lighthouse would be right, but anything else symbolic along those sorts of lines would be great!
Hi, thank you so much for the positive and constructive feedback ! Here is the logo design using blue and a brighter green. I am also working on some other designs based upon your additional suggestions. Thanks !

Thank you, we much prefer the simpler version, but it feels a little pharmaceutical. The brief has been updated slightly to include the word exciting - in our field most of the brands have a medicinal feel to them and whilst we aim to instill trust in our customers, we don't want to be seen to take ourselves too seriously (subtly, I don't mean we want everything in Comic Sans with exclamation marks). We've been so inspired by the submissions that our brief has evolved slightly - we approached this process with our minds almost too open!
Sweet, innocent hummingbird. --- As I thought about all the people out there with food allergies and how scary it must be for them when doing something as simple as shopping for food, I thought more about your product's merits and why someone would be inclined to purchase your products over another. I realized that the key benefit is that your products can "do no harm" - or, in other words "innocence". It occurred to me that a hummingbird is perfectly suited to serve as a really nice symbol to convey that feeling. It also carries a sense of wholesomeness, nature and appeals to women - as you have stated, you primary consumer group. You have also indicated that it is necessary that the logo will change color frequently - another benefit of the hummingbird is that there are many varieties and colors so changing the hummingbird's colors will not be a problem as may be the case when changing a green leaf to purple. Also, I'm sure many of your competitors use leaves and similar motifs in their logos, so this approach nullifies that concern as well. Thanks for all your comments and suggestions on my previous designs. I hope you like this one even more.
Hello, this design is based upon the same thought process as my hummingbird design, but takes a little different angle. This time I've chosen to depict the feeling that a person with allergies gets when they've discovered a product that they know is safe for them and their family to eat. Hope you like this approach as well. Thanks.
Thanks so much for putting so much thought into it, you have really tried to empathise with our consumer base, which is fantastic. We like #57. It's simple, clean and feng-shui-friendly! #58 is lovely but seems very familiar - I think we have a brand in the UK with a very similar design. Could we please see #57 with a white eye and also with no eye at all?
Hello, I'm happy you appreciation my designs and all the thought that is behind the concept. Good suggestion to make the hummingbird's eye white - really made the artwork stand out much more and gave more life to the character. Thanks for your suggestions !
Hello again. Here is the version with no eye. I'm not sure this is as effective as the other. I think that the eye is needed to make a personal connection with the customer ( something a leaf can't do ) but it is certainly worth a look. Thanks again for your input. It's nice to have a client so involved with the design process.
