This is a nice wordmark with the right 'feel'. Perhaps you'd like to see this with one of my earlier graphic devices...?

I like this one. It's simple and suggestive in all the ways I previously mentioned, has the nice wordmark from my previous entry, and I like how the shaded element of the wordmark points directly at the word "PERFORMANCE".

I really tried to make the pulse embedded in the font work but just couldn't satisfy myself with the results.

This is pretty slick with a touch of colour. I truly think minimal and suggestive is the best way to go. Really, the name says it all anyway. And on a cap or T, just the two colour wordmark would look really kick-ass - I'd wear it and I never wear advertising!

Been away from my office so I didn't see your comments. Sorry. Did you mean a smaller pulse above and stretching the length of the word Pulse? If so, I'd have to work up that option and post a link since the contest is about to close.

less of an M #214 and #122 can change a tiny bit with maybe a pulse??? take one of the sides? mmmmthe grey bit into a pulse??
