Hi Katy... just wondered if you have any ideas you would like me to experiment with in terms of colours and/or fonts?

Best regards, Steve

Hi Steve, We really like the fonts you're already using and also the 3D design element you've incorporated. We like the idea of the speech marks also looking like a globe too as we are looking to grow the company in the coming years.

The navy blue looks great so any further mixing of colours you'd be able to provide would be brilliant. We are open to any slightly off-the-wall ideas you may have too.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your feedback Katy.

I've got a couple of personal matters to attend to this morning, but I'll experiment with other colours and concepts a bit later in the day.

All the best,

Steve

Hi Katy,

I've experimented with a couple of alternative colour combinations and also developed a new concept, which has a similar structure to #11, but in the graphic style of #31. The idea is that the speech marks surrounding the grey circle represents your aspiration for global reach.

Do you like the new colours (I know they depart from your traditional orange)? And, does the new shape work at all, or is it a little too 'busy'.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve, The logo we've picked for number one is definitely still our favourite. Would we be able to make less white space between the speech marks and see how that looks?
We like the idea of the speech marks as well as looking global, also looking like a 'p' and 's' with the white space.

Thank you for all you efforts,

Katy

Thanks Katy.

I've uploaded #61... is that what you had in mind?

If we could have the speech marks closer together and with an even space between them at each end. Taking the shape from Design #6 and moving it closer together ?

Thanks

I'm really sorry, Katy, but I don't think I can provide that revision, because the result would be too similar to another designer's work. You would get the same response (I hope!) if you asked another designer to position their speech marks so that they are the same as my entry #31.

Okay, we're almost there! Would we be able to make them look more like quote marks and thin them out slightly instead?

Good morning, Katy!

I'll work on this revision now. It's school holidays and I have a couple of little ones buzzing around, so I might get distracted, but hope to have something in the next couple of hours.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Katy,

I've uploaded #67 and #68.

#68 is the same as #31, but with the shapes thinned out a little.

With #67, I've tried to edit the original yin-yang-type shapes to create something a bit more speech-mark-like. Do you like the way that idea is developing and, if so, would you like to see it explored further?

Ok, so, you did say you might be open to any slightly off-the-wall ideas. :)

I was out yesterday with my kids at a local pet shop and the main attraction was a parrot. He was, without doubt, a publicity seeker. And he talked endlessly! :)

Haha I really like the parrot! Unfortunately one of our clients actually has a parrot logo so we can't go down that route. One more revision I'd like to try if that's okay. (I appreciate I'm being a nightmare) Would we be able to try the text in a font similar to Gotham Light, remove the white shine from the blue quotation mark and also rearrange the logo so that the text appears first and larger and the quote marks appear at the top right of the text. Hope that's okay!

Hi Katy, shame about the parrot. :)

Please see #70 and #71 - did I get the position of the elements correct?

They will look the same at first glance, but #70 uses Gotham Light and #71 uses my own original font. By this, I mean that the font was designed and drawn from scratch and is not a customised version of someone else's font. I have published quite a few fonts, most of which are available for download from sites like dafont, but the one used here is not.

As for revisions... I truly am happy to provide as many as you need. It's no problem at all. I feel bad about having to say no to the variation you asked for yesterday, but only because it would have been a breach of our code of conduct.

Morning Steve, yes #71 is definitely our favourite. The font looks great and modern. Thank you regarding the revisions, we were wondering if we could see the colours switched round so the blue on Publicity and orange on Seekers. Also the colours on the quote marks switched if that's okay.

Thanks again

Good morning Katy,

I've switched the colours on the text only (#72) and both text and icon (#73). Both changes have been made to the version with my font... would you like to see the same changes applied to the Gotham variation and/or the variations with the icon to the left?

Thanks, Steve

No that's perfect it's definitely your font we prefer #73 looks brilliant. One last thing (I promise) that we'd like to try. Would we be able to change the spacing in the word 'SEEKERS' so that its the same as 'Publicity' and then align the text to the right?

Honestly, as many revisions as you need... I totally understand the need to get it right. :)

I've uploaded #74, with the text aligned to the right. You'll notice the s of seekers does not sit directly under the y of publicity. If I have aligned them directly, the s would have appeared optically too far to the right. So, I've aligned the s so that it sits approximately mid way between the stem of the y and its right arm.

I can adjust this if it doesn't look right to you.

I re-read my last message and confused myself! :)

I uploaded #75 to show you what I failed miserably to describe. The s from seekers is not aligned with the right edge of the y from publicity. Because there is a large white area below the right arm of the y, the s appears optically too far to the right to my eye.

Grrrrr... my last message should have read that the "s from seekers is NOW aligned with the right edge of the y".
