Greetings Zennyase,

Thank you for your two attractive logos, #2 and #3 of this tounament. I like the overall feelings coveyed by both entries of safety and growth. The texts are easy to read and the graphics are welcoming.

I am new to this process so my feedback may seem vague at first but I will seek input from colleagues regarding specific suggestions. Here are my first thoughts

#3 & #4 The first text line should read "Psychiatric Wellness Center."

#3 I would like to see the green color of the crescent be used in the first line of the text

#4 I would similarly like to see the flower in green and the first text line in green and blue for the second text line and the cirlces around the flower.

#3 and #4 I would like to see some other ideas for the fonts and type for the first and second text lines.

Thank you for these artistic entries.

Kind Regards,

Good Afternoon Zennyase,

Thank you for your prompt and creative responses to my suggestions.

I really like the evolution of these designs. I like the font type and size of entry #8. It has the feel of an architect's drawings and conveys to me the "creative designing and building of a new positisve lifestyle at the Psychiatric Wellness Center.

However, I also like the ? formality or ? structure of the font type and size in entry #6.

In both entries #6 and #8, I like the first letter of each word in text line 1 (Psychiatric Wellness Center) to be a bit larger than just a regular capital.

I want to continue to rank your earlier versions but the website apparently only allows ranking 1-6. I am currently showing two of your earlier entries as "unranked". If anyone know how I can rank beyond 6 entries I would appreciate it.

I will be in meetings until about 4 pm Eastern Standard Time. I look forward to viewing more entries.

Kind Regards,

Dr. Tom

I have elaborated the concept of entry #13 (new entries #16,#17,#18): the logo encircled with a little movement (pond ripples) evokes both safety and growth, the pastel colors evokes tranquility and hope.
I know that my english is not so good, but I'm sure my designs speak for me :)

Good Evening Zennyase,

Thank you for your kind note. I really like your new entries #16, #17, & #18. I also still like #13.

First, I like the font type and size in #16 #17 & #18. It is easy to read and welcoming to the viewer. One suggestion is to make the first letter of each word in text line 1 a little bit larger (Psychiatric Wellness Center) like you did in entry #11. I like the beauty and symmetry of #17 & #16. #18 combines elements of #13, #16 & #17. #18 is like looking down on a lotus flower from above. I like the slight asymmetry of the outer ring and how it narrows in two areas. I like the use of your pastel colors to convey hope and tranquility.

Thank you for exploring another visual perspective of the lotus flower. I really appreciate your creative energies on this project.

I am interested in exploring any other nature symbols that reflect the qualities that your entries display.

Kind Regards,

Dr. Tom

Good Morning Zennyase,

Thank you for new entries #21, #22 which include the new text line 2 of PA at the end.
These continue to be outstanding entries. My only suggestion now would be to slightly increase the size of the first letter of each word in text line 1 (like your entries #11 and #12). As I have said before, to me these immediately convey the visual message of what Psychiatric Wellness Center is all about. Wonderful work!

I also want to recognize the beautiful background you have in all your engtries. I have a friend who is a watercolor artist and she pointed out how the center of the picutres fades into a lighter area where the logo is present and what a calming "holding environment" ( a technical psychotherapy term meant to convey a safe, warm attention to the person's feelings and needs) it represents.

Thank you for entry #23, a new nature symbol, the butterfly. I like this. It is intriguing. I like the use of both green and blue within the "unfolding butterfly" and I can also see a heart shape and a bud like shape in the butterfly. I like the text font size and type and colors. Another creative entry!

Sincerely,

Dr. Tom

Good Evening Zennyase,

I have been studying your creative entries and I really like your work.

I would like to explore on entry#25 having a small ?white flower in the flower bud. This idea comes from your entry#26. Showing some of the flower would be expressing the symbolism of the transformative process of therapy which empowers the person to grow and develop emotionally in new ways. In addition, could you use the text lines 1 and 2 from entry #12. I would like to explore this look which is taller and leaner.

I would also like to see #26 with the text lines 1 and 2 from entry #12.

Thank you for your creative energies.

Kind Regards,

Dr. Tom

I have been pondering whether to put entry #26 as the first choise. You have so many creative entries it is hard to choose among them but the more I stuy your work the more i like entry#26

Dear Zennyase,

I have just received an e-mail from my sister in Iowa. She publishes a local church newsletter and she really likes your work. Her one suggestion is to explore entry#26 with a darker green for the text line 2. How about the darker green found in the leaves on entry #26 used as the color for text line 2. It may be too dark and it may look better to stay with the life and vitality of the lighter green. Just an idea to explore.

Thank you for your innovative ideas.

Good morning,

thank you for your feedback. I have uploaded two new version of #25 with a small white flower (entry #38 and #46), I have also changed the text of both and of entry #26 (see #40). Also entry #26 with darker green color for text line 2 (entry #40 new font, entry #41 old font).
I have uploaded also new versions with small changes: entries #42, #43, #45.

Good Morning Zennyase,

Thank you for your prolific, beautiful and creative new entries. I like them very much. I will study them carefully. Here are some first impressions:

#40 is elegant and inviting. The text lines are clear and welcoming. The darker green in text line 2 make this very easy to read. The new font shape and size for text lines 1 and 2 create a tall and elegant look. Overall, this logo is very compelling. Again, I like the darker green of text line 2 to mirror the dark and light green of the leaves of the flower which represent the children, adolescents and adults. The beautiful flower represents their unfolding new positive self. The dark blue of text line 1 echoes the dark blue of the water ripple. The "offset" of the blue ripple with it being thinner in two areas is really a creative touch that visually represents movement and symbolically represents the energy of working together in therapy. The light blue background fading to white in the center represents the holding environment that encourages empowerment to positive change. This is an excellent entry.

#41 However, I still like the artistic feel to the font shape and size of this entry. I like the darker green color of text line 2 is easier to read than in #26. Could you please try to increase the "thickness" of text line 2 perhaps with a "bold" font to make it easier to read this line. Text line 2 is so easy to read in #40. I would like to do the same thing with this entry. Overall, the font size and shape express a beautiful and creative look that mirrors the art of working together in therapy. An outstanding entry.

I like all the other new entries. I will study them and give you feedback in about 4 hours. You have given me a lot to think about. I really appreciate your involvment in this creative process.

Good Afternoon Zennyase,

Thank you for your prolific and talented work. It is really helping me to challenge my imagination to figure out how to express graphically the ideas behind the work we do together with children, adolescents and adults.

Thank you for exploring a taller, leaner text lines in entries #43 & #45. They are attractive but not as easily read as the text lines in #50 or #46. Good try though!

Entry #45 has the rectagular box which looks like the professional sign on the entrance to an office. It is professional looking but to me it takes away from the beauty and flow of the overall design which you expressed in entry #43. I like green leaves of #43 and #45 but I like entries with a flower showing through the leaves as in entry #46. However, I believe I see a small green leaf on the right side on a ripple of water in #45 and #43. I like this as an extra touch for additonal visual interest without it being distracting.

#42 and #38 have beautiful flowers but I miss having more of the green in the logo. I am constantly drawn back to #18 and really like the 3 shades of green in the flower.

I like the all green flower leaves in entries #43 and #45 but I like having some of the unfolding flower show through the leaves as in #46.

Overall, a wonderful body of creative work. I still like #50 the best at this time. I have one suggestion. It may just be my eyes but it appears that the text lines 1 of #27 (beautiful butterfly) are a bit larger and easier to read than text line 1 of #50. If so could you please use text line 1 of #27 and put it on #50.

In #50 on text line 2 could you please replace "and" with & to give more room for the ", PA" at the end. I realize I have not been clear about this and in some entries "and" is used and in others "&" is used. I am still deciding about this but it would help to see the difference.

Thank you for you continued creative logos.

Hi Zennyase,

Could you please add ", PA" to the end of text line 2 in #46. I know it is a bit crowede and I do not want to take away from the design but it is important in terms of the professional identification of this practice.

Have a good afternoon.

Good Afternoon Zennyase,

I really lke the changes you made. These logos are so compelling that each small change really makes a big difference in visual impact.

#54 to my eyes has a lot more room in text line 1 between "adolescents" and "adults" with the & sign rather than the word "and". The slightly larger text line 1 font size really works well to my eyes. To me the text lines 1 & 2 are easy to read with the letters spread out generously but proportionately. These lines suggest the architects design and build approach to personal empowerment. They really work well with this graphic icon of the flower supported by the green leaves and nurtured by the water ripples. I really like how the inner and outer ripples taper at 2 places the inner ripple taper at "4 and 10 o'clock" and the outer ripple tapering at "2 and 8 o'clock". Wow what an awesome logo. Wonderful work.

#53 is still beautiful and compelling. I like the "PA" at then end of text line 2. A wonderful logo.
I would like to see a small green leaf on the right side of the ripple of water on this logo (like you mentioned in #43). Thank you for this clear and effective logo. Excellent work.

Again, thank you for your creative stamina and artistic sensibilities. I am enjoying working together with you on this project. I appreciate your energy and quick turn around time.

Have a good afternoon.

Good Morning to you in Spain Zennyase,
I was talking with my sister in Iowa and we both like #54 and #56.
I would like to explore a few ideas.
1) Would you please create a logo with the text lines 1 and 2 of #54 with the graphic flower and pond ripples of #56.

2) Would you please create a logo just like 1) but with the second text line with a different shade of green for children (lightest shade of green), adolescents (middle shade of green) and adults (darkest shade of green). The green colors I am referring to are the greens in #13. I believe you used the middle shade of green and the darkest shade of green in #54's flower leaves. I know I said in the past that the lightest shade of green was harder to read but maybe with this font size and type it will work.

Why do this? To recognize visually that children, adolescents and adults are different. This idea may make for visual busyness and take away from the clarity of the design but it is worth a try.

All in all both #54 and #56 are awesome. I look forward to exploring some new visual ideas.

Thank you for your creative energies.

Sincerely,

Dr. Tom

Good Morning Zennyase,

Thank you for creating logos #57 and #58.

To my eyes, #57 works better because the second line is clearly readable. I am glad we tried #58 but the second line is not as readable but I am glad we tried out the cocepts of different shades of green for the children, adolescents, and adults. To me it does not work becuase it makes the second line too confusing. Thanks for your flexibility in trying out this idea.

The font size and shape in #57 and #58 work well.

Overall, #57 is my overall second choice with #54 still my first choice at this time.

Thanks for the creative logos.

Have a good day.

Dear Zennyase,

Logos entries #57 & #54 are terrific and I have enjoyed hearing what each entry communicates to several friends, family members and experts in printing. I have reflected upon their feedback and I have decided to put #57 as the first choice at this time. The reasoning is that it communicates quickly to the viewer a sense of balance and safety and potential for growth. Also the text line 1 is more prominent in this design which is proper to communicate the name of the center.

While #54 is beautiful, compelling and complex, several viewers said it took some study to figure out what the symbol was about and it did not immediately communicate the calmness and wholistic feel of #57.

I look forward to continuing this process throughout the tournament. Thank you again for your flexibility and willingness to explore multiple options. Your work is very creative and imaginative.

Have a good day.

Sincerely,

Dr. Tom

Good Evening Zennyase,

I have been showing logo entry #57 to colleagues and the one suggestion is to remove the small leaf from the right side of the water ripples. Most people do not understand it and it looks to them like a blemish. After thinking about it, I agree that we do not want any distacting elements from the harmony between the calming and inviting graphic of a lotus flower in a pond and the visual message of text lines 1 & 2.

Thank you for this wonderful and imaginative work.

Good Morning Zennyase,

Thank you for your delightful new logo entries. #117 allows full attention to the water and the lotus.

I also really like exploration of color and elements in your logo entries #118, #119, #120 and #121. Each one has a different look and feel. Starting from an excellent logo, the subtle variations in color and elements embellish the visual message of this logo.

I need time to study these new logo entries and to show them to friends and colleagues and get their feedback.

Thank you for your overall outstanding work and energy and enthusiasm.

Good Morning Zennyase,

I have been studying your beautiful recent logo entries and talking with friends. I would like to offer the following suggestion.

1) For #121, add the bottom small horizontal leaflets at the base of the flower as in #15.
Make the color of the base leaflets the darker green color of #13 (like you did earlier in #58).
Make the size of the leaflets as large as those in #12
Continue to make the color of text line 2 the darker green color of the base leaflets (as in #117).

Thank you again for your imagination and creativity.

Good morning Dr. Tom,

I have applied a few changes to entry #131 (please see entry #168).
The supporting leaves on water are larger: this visually indicate a better support to the flower for stability.
The flower itself is taller, unfolding is almost done. Growth on stability is the concept.
I think this is a serious but colorful logo. I'm sure this will print well on paper and b/w.

Good Morning Zennyase,

Your new logo entries are excellent. I need time to study them but they are major contributions.

#168 is a thoughtful and meaningful refinement of this very attractive logo. Well done.

#174 is also original and I really like this logo.

Good Afternoon Zennyase,

Thank you for #180. You anticipated my next request! It is a beautiful visual concept.

Suggestions:
1) For #180, please center text line 1 over text line 2. Thanks.

2) For #131, could you keep everything the same including the the dark green on the two lower basal leaves and change the upright leaves a medium green that you used in #13.

3) For #131 could you keep everything the same as in Suggestion 2) except change the upright leaves the lightest green you used in the flower of #13

4) For Suggestion 3) vesion of #131, could you try a "stacked" version of text line 1 and 2 (like in #180) with text line 1 centered over text line 2

I really like your innovative designs of #172 and #173 but the feedback from colleagues is that they appear too dark and not inviting enough. I really like them and appreciate your artistry.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for your complete feedback.
Regarding your suggestions:
1) text line 1 centered (#183)
2) upright leaves with medium green (#187, stacked version #184)
3) upright leaves with lightest green (#188, stacked version #186)

I have also put a stacked version of #131 (please see #185) and a lighter version of #172 (#189, stacked version #190).

Good Afternoon Zennyase,

Thank you for your prompt reply and creative responses.

I like the balance of the text line 1 centered in #183. This is an attractive stacked text logo. Good work!

Thank you for exploring the the shade of green color of the upright leaves in medium green in #184 and #187 and in lighest green in #188 and #186. To me the lightest green looks a bit "happier" with more visual pop but to my eyes the medium green makes for an easier transition between this color and the dark green of the basal leaves and the dark green of text line 2.

I really like the blue lighter versions of #172 both in regular version #189 and the stacked version #190. They both work well in conveying a sense of emerging wholesness. Wondeful work!

Thanks for the stacked version of #131 (#185).

Outstanding work. I need to study your contributions.
