This is definitely incomplete. Just want to get your feedback on the direction that I'm going in as this will be very time-consuming and I really wouldn't want to spend too much time going in the wrong direction. Off to bed I go. I'll resume in the morning.

Should he be wearing a bow tie just like the fox?

Sorry for the delay in response I did not have access to a computer. I prefer the tie to the little white thing and I like it better without the eyeglass. Also like it better with the little feathers on his chest. You are on the right track. Is there anyway to make him look younger? Like maybe instead of totally round eyeballs have the bottoms go horizontal as if resting on cheeks like the fox at foxtie.com?

Also maybe he would look cuter without legs... with his body resting on feet like a few other entries?

OOps I meant "without" feathers on chest.

Ok no problem but because you took so long to visit and rank and leave feedback the contest is now in judging mode so none of the designers can submit entries

Only the designer ranked 1st can submit entries

They allowed me 3 more days!!! Because I was locked out of my account. SO I like the owl on the limb, perhaps make it a branch with a few leaves, all mononchromatic in greens? Also, can you experiment with his eyes and make the bottoms like like resting on cheeks? Trying to make him look a little younger...
Thanks

Also can you make 2 versions one where he is turned somewhat to the left but looking toward the front like the fox at Foxtie.com?

Thanks for the feedback...I'm working on it right now. I think you will love the new character.

#31 Here is a sneek preview of your new character :)

Ok so in #35 the new character is brought to life. To me he looks younger, more refined.

In #36 and #63 I added more detail and depth to the feathers and lightened the face and chest areas to illuminate the character and more closely match his "twin", the fox.

In #65 I restored the belt buckle from the first character.

In #69 I added depth to the shading of the belt and in #70 I resized the details around the eye (to perhaps make him look more like an owl).

In #73 I made the feathers more "orange" to match the color scheme of the fox and added a little more depth to the body and face of the owl.

In #74 I darkened the "eyebrows" to match the color of the tip of the fox's ears.

In #75 I put the head of the first character on the body of the new character and changed the eyes to match your preference.

In #76 I used the beak from the old character on the new character.

Loving the owl. Several things, could you add a badge to the belt over left crest and lighten the belt buckle. Also going to want the leafy area of the branch to be more like this: http://www.minicuteture.com.au/store/56
Lastly, I like the tail size more on #25 then #75, but like the shape of tail fethers ends on #75. Can you shorten length and make it more like #75 (may require right wing to be shortened too).

I am going to need 3 images total. One facing front (like #25 which will do with edits above), right facing like #75 (which will do with edits above) and then can you take #75, and raise his right wing pointing/facing upwards?

LOVE the changes you've made thus far. Thanks for being so accommodating!

Oh yeah, keep the eyes as in #75 NOT #1. Thanks

One more tweak, an you lessen the contrast between the tan around the eyes and the chest? By making the white a LITTLE bit darker on the chest and then around the eyes a Little bit lighter in shading?
(Oh yeah and don't forget the badge)

Can you make the changes to the tail too? Badge needs to be a little bigger, just get rid of the belt buckle. Thanks

Ok thanks. I'm on it.

Thanks for the feedback. What changes do you need me to make on the tail? Do you want me to make them larger, smaller, darker or lighter?

Overall very pleased.
Liking the two images currently ranked. Will need both for website. Plus one more where eyes are looking to the right, can just use 79 but divert his eyes to right for 3rd owl.

Need tail feathers made identical. I like #77 shorter version of the two but make it look less haggard, maybe a little more rounded at the end with the shadowing. So make them shorter but rounded on both.

Also prefer the chest and rings around the eyes colors in image 79 if can make both the same.

Add badge to #77 nad on bath center it more over the strap, maybe make it a little bigger.

Don't know how to explain this but can you make the tree limb a little more midcentury looking? Less frufru .

ONe (hopefully last) thing, can you take image number 81, draw his right wing raised as if making a point? Not too horizon, more vertical .
