Protea Valley ChurchLogo Design Contest

Hi, I am Gary, also part of the Protea Valley Church review team.
The rustic wooden cross is central to us. I have posted a link to the actual cross which hangs on our front wall in the church.
Also on the cross is the crown of thorns.
I have placed a green plant at the foot of the cross trying to represent new growth, new life.

Hi I like #54 the most out of your stuff but I think it needs a little flair. perhaps a little assymetry? I am not sure how to define or create 'flair' :)

I also think remove the crown as it does not seem to add anything for my eye
