I like #14 most so far. Both #14 and #6 convey the warmth I was looking for, great stuff!
but I'd be keen to see some variation without a building in it as the building is merely a place for us to gather.

hmmm. I like the feel of your first ones more :)
I liked the farm feel of the first one. Could you perhaps do something similar but losing the building and making the cross bigger and the main focus?

Thanks for the updates. I like the centrality of the cross image, however it is indistinct against the background and the logo is generally a little too busy. I think in #14 and #6 the building and cross are much more distinct. I would like something that is immediately visible and more simple (like your original entires)

Hi, I am Gary, also part of the Protea Valley Church review team.
The rustic wooden cross is central to us. I have posted a link to the actual cross which hangs on our front wall in the church.
Also on the cross is the crown of thorns.
I have placed a green plant at the foot of the cross trying to represent new growth, new life.

Hi I wonder if you could do something where the cross is outside the circle on #34?? It seems too bound by the circle...

Also the dark loop on the right of the logo obviously has a bit of history with a farm road effect but I think we need to take it out as others have wondered what it is :)

#38 is also nice, but lacks a bit of the creative flair you have in #34

#79 does not work with the crown of thorns but #78 is better. could we try something with the cross a little off centre as the logo is too symmetrical. I liked the offset cross in #23

The grass looks good (it is not too stylized) but leaves would be better suited to our environment.
