Before we start, we would like to include some backstory about Proper Cool and ourselves in order for you to truly understand what Proper Cool means, the purpose of our logo and what our exact goals for the logo entail:
Proper Cool is a multifaceted fashion styling and design company owned by myself (MJ) and Silver. We both are proud descendants from the Pacific Islands of Tonga & Samoa. Living in America while being raised in our Polynesian culture, subsequently shaped and inspired our views in fashion. Silver and I created this company in hopes to cultivate a brand that represents self-confidence, re-growth and authenticity by infusing our Polynesian flavor into the mix of fashion.
In purpose of this logo, we want this to reach our target audience who are mostly Pacific Islanders. The majority of these followers generally fall within a certain demographic of 18 - 35 year olds.
Our goals for our logo are to visually represent what Proper Cool is all about and create an experience of our brand that persists in our audience’s minds. In other words, this logo needs to be distinctive & memorable, timeless, and unique.
