Ah, great - #264 is much better. Thank you.
Ok, a few refinements. I admit, in advance, that I am very detail oriented. I believe that that makes my band unusually good at what we do, musically. But it also means that I'm sure I'm not the simplest client for you!
I actually imposed the image of a bass over the logo and saved it online as
http://antonjazz.com/temp/BassDifferences.jpg, because if you refer to that it makes it easier for me to point to a couple things.
• The lower left of the bass in the logo has a contour that resembles a cello. Could you extend it outward a bit (to the left) to match the bass contour more?
• The shape of the f-hole looks much better - thanks! Could you rotate it a bit counterclockwise and, if you don't feel it interferes with the design, make it a bit larger? Doesn't have to be as big as the real thing if that'll make it too much of a presence.
• The strings should be uniformly spaced. The first two strings (on the left) are nicely spaced, a bit bigger space than the rest. Could you modify the others to match them?
• Likewise, the rightmost string seems to be straighter than the one on the left. Could you make it more angled to match the left?
• The angle of the sides of the fingerboard ought to more or less match the angle of the strings.
• The curvature of the bottom of the fingerboard is a little too extreme.
• I like how the bottom end of the strings are laid out in #206 - clipped to match the imaginary horizontal line that extends from the left. Could you do that again?
• Lastly, many real bass fingerboards don't seem to extend as far down as the one you have, but please don't feel that you have to make yours match. I like the presence of the fingerboard, and if you want to extend it even a bit lower for aesthetic purposed (like in #206 or more) that would be fine with me.
Thank you for dealing with these details, DG!
best wishes,
Anton
