ProMetisLogo Design Contest

#1 and # 2 - The 'pro' part of it looks weak. In # 1 - the symbol looks very complex. We do not want the words credibility/reliability/solidity to be written in the logo. However, these attributes should be implied from the logo. Also, we want more prominence to red (even though blue denotes knowledge, our other group company logos have more of red).

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

Entries # 4,5,6,7,8 - First off - thanks for the number of entries, it does help. I would like to reiterate part of my previous comments - the 'Pro' part of looks relatively weak. The second piece of feedback is that the curved arc running across the logo is better done without. Any splitting/cutting of the logo is taken as bad 'chi' (or energy or aura or whatever). Thank you.

Wahyudip - I've moved several similar looking entries into the NI bin because we wanted the "symbol" to come either before or after the name.

Baco - Would it be a good idea to have a thick line under the logo ... again, I'm not a designer, so just a thought.

#17 - Like the symbol denoting "industry". The little arc in the logo is not a desired feature since this will be used in garments and also in some printers with low res. We prefer solid colors. I can't put this in words but it is a nice look. Thank you.

Thanks in general for the response. There are a number of exciting entries. I especially like # 24 but that is not to say that we want the industrial wheel in the logo. Just that it looks kinda appropriate.

There have been a set of new exciting designs submitted. We'd like to do full justice to the efforts and so ask for some time to post our comments and new rankings. About a day. In the meantime, please do keep sending any new design concepts/changes. Thanks very much for all your efforts. This is our first contest here but quite sure that we'll keep coming back.

# 37 - Dilovega - Like the concept of the emblem. However, it's looking ... how do I say it .. very ancient. Is there a way to spiff it up? I know my comment is probably not helpful, but I'm not getting the right words.

Technoexperts - between all the concepts submitted, we like # 34 most. Can you work this as ProMetis please.
