Please try to do something different than a person holding a torch/fire since I have many options and it is starting to feel like a fire department logo.

I am looking for creativity and simple (not complex) logo that it's image can be used alone and together with the textual name of the company.

Guys (and girls)....

Please note that I like simple logos that deliver strong meaning (like all big brands that go for that flat logo... ).

1) Kinetic image
2) Simplicity
3) Flat
4) Fonts
5) Cleanliness

I extended the contest in 1 day - we will be working closely to finalize the logo selection

guys - thank you very much for the effort.
we are close...

It looks like:
1) Color - Red is best, Light blue is second
2) Dimensions - Flat is far better than 3D, even with small depth
3) Font - A crucial part of the logo - should be crisp, nice font and not simple Arial for instance and uppercase gets the upper hand
4) Mascot/person gets attention but should be simple, flat.
5) No one liked the fire, torch, eyes elements.
6) Geometric shapes got very good attention if the color was good and the quality looked finalized

PLEASE - do your best to create finalized versions of your work, offer new ideas that follow the current message and ranking.

NOTE: This is not the final ranking. It is close, but mainly used to express the feedback I've got from my friends and co-workers.

Another think to consider...

The logo should easily provide a short/small version.

Prometheus Inspiring Technology is a long name, so we would want to use:\
1) Prometheus
2) PMTS
3) Only the icon

I wish to thank you all for participation and for your efforts.
I was amazed by the quality of your work and responsiveness. You are all very talented!

So many designs where considered by me as the winning design throughout the contest and it was very hard to decide, but eventually, as the contest continued, and with some help from my friends, I've started to realize which logo expresses my company best.

My winner is Daniel (dapc79) with the logo #246 that evolved from #77 .
