Color Preferences
The logo will need to be appealing when printed in grayscale as well as in color. Perhaps a combination of black and gray text; white text may be used on a color or black background. Use of color could be bold yet simple (one or two colors perhaps, if any). Colors other than black or gray are not a requirement. I am open to any color, but would recommend bolder/vibrant use versus pastels.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I like creative typeface a lot, so the logo can be the word "Progress". I am open to use of all caps or all lower case. The word "studio" should be stacked below the word "progress" and should not be the main focus of the logo. If there is a logo, its position would most likely want to be centered and/or above the word "progress". The images attached are a variety of use of typeface and incorporating logos. I am based in Indianapolis, famous for the Indianapolis 500, in case that sparks any creativity (though any reference to a checkered flag, race cars, or perhaps the shape of the track should be extremely minimal). I do not want to use typical architecture reference images such as drafting tools, buildings, or houses. Something that evokes progress or forward thinking into the future.
