Thank you for the excellent submissions! Appreciate your time and effort.
Digging #11 as it progressing to some of the ideas that I think would work well in depicting that we are sorting through reviews and articles to make a solid review.
Can you make it a bit more eye grabbing?
Idea: Leave the check mark green, but make the area around the piece of paper blue (we've got a nice shade in the attached image) and the top metal clip part a grey to mimic metal. Also to see what it would look like can you make the Product Scoop text green as the check mark?
I do like the idea of incorporating a bit of blue into the logo so it matches well with the rest of the site.
Other idea:
Perhaps a version where it's the click board, but it has smaller check marks running down it but with a letter A circled at the end (perhaps the A in blue). Sort of like a teacher grading a test or report and how they can leave marks and the letter of the grade circled at the bottom or top.
If you have any other concepts or ideas that run loosely to entry #11 we'd would love to see them.
Thank you for positive feedback. I made revisions based on your suggestion. I have tried to incorporate as much details as i can but not to made symbol to complex. My opinion is to keep simple symbol (my favorite is still one with clipboard and one check-mark) but decision is yours. Please let me know what you think.
Great revisions - the clipboard looks really sharp along with the letter grade. Hit the right balance of complexity.
Could you make a few logo combos below?
1. Could you take the clipboard graphic on #21 and put that to the green text on #18. Could the green Product Scoop text have a bit more pop to the visuals? Shadowing/highlighting?
2. Take the logo that will be created from the above request but use this color blue #2b6aa1 for the clipboard blue. That is the blue that dominates our website and I'm curious how it looks in contrast to the pleasant blue color you have now.
3. Do you think the tagline of "Get the scoop on the product you're researching" would fit under the words Product Scoop or perhaps under the whole logo? Let me know, it may be too long.
4. Lastly, I really like your ability to create clear, colorful 3d objects as in the clipboard. I'm curious if you have the time to create a newspaper graphic instead of a clipboard? The word scoop is usually associated with newspaper stories. The newspaper could have the single green check on it as with the clipboard version. Let me know.
I made adjustments on design based on your latest comments. I uploaded two versions. One is with tagline that you suggested, and one with shorter version of tagline. I added some shine gradient effects to logo text, also applied blue color that you suggested (although i already used this color in my previous submissions, but as starting color for gradient, to achieve better 3d look). And for last request (newspaper look) i need little more time, but i will upload another proposal before contest ends. Feedback from you is very useful so please continue with comments and i am sure that we can make future look for your brand at highest standards possible.
Great updates - the new font gradient looks slick. Your tagline is actually quite good, I'm editing it a bit below.
Requests:
Logo One: 1. Can you edit the tagline on #22 to "Get the scoop on the best products" and upload it for preview.
Logo Two: 1. Please make the Product Scoop text in #22 the same color green as in #18. 2. Make sure it has the new above tagline also and please upload for preview.
And here is 3d newspaper logo. As in my previous entry i have tried to simplify it but to keep recognizable. Logo looks almost the same even if it is in one color (very important for printed material). Feedback appreciated
I made one proposal with speech bubbles as you requested. I must admit that is very hard to make it unique because is used very often, but i have tried to incorporate your ideas in design. Please let me know what you think...
