Color Preferences
+ deep black
+ orange; something around Pantone 021C or RAL 2003
The orange is supposed to be something like the road sweeping vehicles around here. It's quite eye-catching, almost like the roadmen's vests, but not as reflective.
http://www.google.de/search?q=RAL+2003&source=lnms&tbm=isch
It's eye-catching, it's associated with (heavy-duty) work and with deep black I find it almost classy.
Just imagine a matt black service-car with orange logo on it.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
existing CI can be found at http://www.procompsys.de/
I like keeping things simple and practical. IT customers and users usually receive and work with quite complex technologies that have to be as easy as possible to cope with... self-explanatory as far as possible - not to say fool-proof. As this is one of the aims of the company's services, the logo should as well not to be too complex.
Existing logo adapted from rotary lobe pump was my own idea when literally "playing" with the letters I & T (information technology) and appears quite congenial regarding the technical aspect and that "everything is running round and smoothly", maybe even "keeping complex things simple" or "I see it, I dig it".
The dinosaur (scientific name: "procompsognatus") was actually only inspired by the company's name "ProCompSys" (Professional Computer Systems). Thankfully it later turned out to me, it might symbolize agility and assertiveness.
I still kinda like it, though I dont't think I'd raise it to the company's primary logo. I'd like to maybe keep it as a "subordinate" logo. Sometimes people ask, what the dinosaur has to do with all this, so I can tell them: "His name is almost the same as the name of the company - procompsognatus."
Anyway I'm, still not quite comfortable with it... it should be more "stylized", but whenever I tried do do so, it ended up looking... strange.
