Welcome - Rather than steps, I chose a journey or path forward to a bright horizon I chose a tagline that fits. Although I like shortening it to simply: "What lies ahead".
I like the "ProActive Tax Group" font in #86 better than in #166 -- has more motion.
Could you put the correct tag line under #86? Please make sure it is readable; tag line in #166 is a little small/light.
I really like the mark, but there's something about the diamond orientation that creates white space between it and the type, kind of makes me feel like the mark/icon is not connected to the type.
Just one idea: Shorten the vertical rule so that it end (bottom of it ends) in alignment with the bottom of "tax group" -- and then stretch the tag line so that it is closer to the mark/icon, runs under the vertical rule, and ends at the far right under "group." Hope that makes sense. Just trying to accomplish two things - enlarging the tagline, and connecting the icon and the type section. Other ideas?
#204 | #205 - I reworked the icon to better fit the wordmark. The old font is reattached to move with the path of the icon. I think these really seem to work together well, while still giving you a unique icon that can stand alone and tells a story.
Great work. Very compelling re-design. Nice way of solving the integration issue.
It came down to your #206 and another, and we chose the other, but not after a fair amount of wrangling and hand-wringing. I really like what you've done here, but subjectively it was less of a fit for our goals than the winner. I hope that concept can be repurposed for another client, as it's a good one. I wish I had another business so I could buy your logo.
One further thing I can bring to the table, is that I offer a discount on all additional branding to ANY Logo Tournament customer. (Regardless of who they chose logo wise.)
If you need business card designs and layout, Social media page layout, etc ...I can put together a price list for you. Simply email me at: paul@paultilly.net
