LOVE THE LOOK! I think you are on the right track. Maybe try a diff. font in the banner...lets see what that looks like. I'd LOVE to see what else you've got....though I like this, it would be nice to see a few other versions. I think you are on to something :)

I was just working on that as you spoke ... I'll give it some thought ... I LOVE retro styling so I'm happy to work on this for you. Thanks for the feedback - keep it coming.

Great! I do love that chrome look on the sign and also like a bit of the neon vibe like in the site I posted for retrogaspumps.com.

Check out this toy I found for disney cars:

its the Flow's V8 Cafe from the Cars Movie. With the pumps we are setting up an old retro style gas station with the gumball machines. I like the sign on the corner of this toy on the website link. Love to see what you can come up with......LOVE the chrome and neon look as well maybe added to your elements. You are doing great.

Hi, if you let me know which elements you like or dislike that can help me take the design further.

on the one I have you ranked first at, lets see what the logo looks like with the banner back to black and white and then put the square chrome shape from the second one on it. In the banner have it say prizepumps.com for now until we can come up with something else....then do another one, just the same as I described, but keep the oval shape and change the banner color to black. On both of these logos, can you make the "Prize Pumps" in the square/oval a bit more pronounced?

on the one we ranked 1st....drop the banner all together. Then do the one ranked 2nd with the rectagle in the colors that you did the one we ranked 4th and font, drop the banner. We are so excited about these!

We are really into entry #23,24. Sorry to get so picky....now can you do #23 with the font from #24 both at an angle and straight. We also like the darker red feel in #24, so can you make the rectagle more of that shade? You are really doing awesome!

If I miss something just let me know - its ok to be picky, your logo is the most important thing for the image of your company, so don't feel bad at all :). I've made a few other minor adjustments - I've made the P at the top the same colour as the main logo text - and added a little more definition/reflection to the oval.

This is excellent! We love the top three that we've ranked you with. Now we've just got to decide which of those three we are in to the most :) You really did a great job of getting down to the middle of it and capturing the feel we were looking for! Entry #30 seems to be the best so far....Thanks for your hard work!

thanks for the positive comments - really appreciated :) ... The current 1 is my favourite so far - the only thing I'd play with is making the shape slightly rounder as in this version ... don't hesitate to ask for further revisions.

On entry #43 can we see what it looks like with maybe some of that ridged look on the red part, like on designer who has the 5th place ranked entry #44

yep! Let me ask you this? Once the contest is complete....and we receive your design, will we be able to pull it apart? The reason I am asking is because we would like to use the circle/P/and wings piece for small items, and the whole logo for other items.

I would be happy to supply the elements separately as well as together. I don't think that contravenes the rules here.

Oh, you would be able to do it yourself if you had a vector editing program such as Adobe Illustrator, or once you have the files a graphic designer can do it for you, the files are completely editable.
