Pristine PlanetLogo Design Contest

Thanks everyone for the great submissions! I'm really liking the shopping tag idea (#32 #69) as well as the periodic table themes (#56). It would be great if the submissions included the slogan - Green Comparison Shopping.

ATTENTION ALL DEISNGERS

Submission rules:

* NO CLIPART (ISTOCKPHOTO, SHUTTERSTOCK, ETC.) EVEN IF YOU OWN THE RIGHTS.
* NO TRACING OR VECTORIZATION OF EXISTING CLIPART OR PHOTOGRAPHY (UNLESS YOU TOOK THE PICTURE)
* 350x280 pixels or (width/height ratio of 1.25:1) in JPG, PNG, or GIF format
* Only one variation per upload (example: if you want to show a logo in red, blue, and yellow. You would create and upload 3 separate files)
* No designer firm watermarks
* Neatly centered both horizontally and vertically with spacing all around. (No ugly oversized logos that hit the edges, negative space is a designer's friend!)
* No Borders - we are building a clean and consistent community portfolio.
* Your work must be created in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator, and the final files MUST be delivered in .EPS format. Photoshop is not for logos and.

Admins & Mods will remove entries without notice for not following the above submission rules.

So many talented artists! I've ranked the top entries and left the designs that were appealing (the concept is on the right track) in the unranked queue . I'm really liking the shopping carts, tree/leaf, and shopping tag designs.
Can we also see examples with and without a .com in the name as well.

Thanks to everyone to has taken the time to contribute. It's very appreciated.

Here are the things that I really like:

The simple, Identifiable icons that convey a green feel as well as a shopping theme such as #125, #124, #118, #167, #123. We will be using this icon as part of our social networking (as well as on our website) and will need a simple, very unique and identifiable image for people to remember and associate with us.

The "Comparison" in comparison shopping is accentuated (#94) so that it stands out along with the name. Shoppers confuse us with a traditional shopping site all of the time so it needs to stand out that we are comparison shopping - not a standard shopping website.

I like the 2 colored Pristine Planet (#124). It really makes the name stand out.

I like the sideways .com in #154. It lets everyone know that we are a website but is subtle and it looks cool.

I like the font in #118 and the way the name appears to have a very subtle fade where the name is darker on bottom than on top. This or "Pristine" being one color and "Planet" being the other is nice. I also like the font in #154

Don't like:

Busy backgrounds and icons that distract from the name or would be difficult to recognize in a small format.

Planet and globes - to cliché.

barcodes and dollar signs - makes it feel to corporate and money focused.

Colored backgrounds - looking for a clean, simple, designs.
