Prism Writing Services, LLCLogo Design Contest

While I like the font used for PRISM, I think the words "Writing Services, LLC" get lost. And I am not sure what the graphic has to do with writing.

Writing is some kind of "trace" we leave in the world. It becomes a trace in the history when we write something. The ray of light reflecting on a prism symbolizes this, as the ray of light itself is also a trace.

Not bad, but can we try a version with an icon, either a pen, a computer or soemthing that corresponds with "writing"?

Also while I agree with your interpretation of the logo for #17, I don't think my target audience is going to quite make that connection.

Can we try this design (#42) with a pen or fountain pen as well?
