Press & Pointer Coffee HouseLogo Design Contest

Press & Pointer will be a coffee shop located in a small downtown square in South Carolina. It will be a smaller but cozy coffee shop serving quality coffee and espresso drinks, along with some pastries. There are 2 primary target audiences which are students at the nearby college, and the working class that work near the square. This will be a great coffee shop for students to work/gather or other people in the community to work or gather. It will be a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with a cozy and southern elegance vibe.

The feel of the Coffee shop is elevated southern yet cozy. My idea is dark stained woods, dark greens, blues, mixed metals. I don't want too many different colors but Brown, really reflects not just coffee but simple, Green or blue may give that elevated southern feel but I am leaning more towards green than blue if they are used.

Press & Pointer Coffee House is the name of the business. I want to focus more in on "Press & Pointer" , I want the pointer to be represented by a pointer dog. The idea in my head is maybe a silhouette of a pointer dog pointing but I am open to different designs. I want the logo to embody the feel of southern and elegance, I want it to be simple but with a classy and timeless feel. I want the logo to look good on a cup but also on a shirt. I am open to a logo that can be separated from the words if I want just that on cups but then joined with the words for the signage. I love the font and aesthetic of the Garden & Gun Magazines so I've attached a few pictures to inspire and added 2 pictures of my interior inspiration. I want the logo to complement the vibe of the inside of the coffee shop, southern, classic, intimate, and cozy. Press & Pointer Coffee House just means the press for coffee press, pointer for pointing hunting dog, and coffee house, a welcoming, comfortable and a feeling of southern culture. I would rather incorporate a pointing dog than coffee
