Regarding the transparency on
#243 - there really isn't another way to do a logomark that contains transparencies, at least not with a black background or (any background in general)... without a white base for the colors to blend on then it pulls from the background.... which makes it invisible over a black/dark background & it also makes your brands colors unpredictable depending on the color of background it gets slapped over...
I personally think you should have a bit of transparency in there... whether you go with the multi-color variation or a green variation... It adds the visual interest that makes it unique to your company... I'm not exactly sure what is concerning you on the flexibility, at the end of the day a one color variation still breaks down to the simple triangle & scales/reads well at very small sizes...
I deliver full color (lightbg), reverse color (dark bg), and one color variations in multiple formats as well... So you have all the flexibility in the files that you should need from the start...
