Here is my initial design idea I came up with, after reviewing your brief: #3. I created military dog tags out of phones, and I placed them inside of a strong, memorable emblem. I am still working on other variations, but I would love to hear your thoughts thus far.

Great design. Can you make this same logo but use army green instead of red? Just to see how it looks.

can you incorporate the eagle not that eagle that is being used by the other designer but US eagle the one on the 1 dollar bill. also can you please put the slogan as "Prepaid Wireless Retailer Locater" and then on the ribbon on the mouth of the eagle put Savings & Service. Thanks
Ok...we are liking the "dog tag" version better...we are not really liking the eagle.
So, focusing on the "dog tag" version...can you please give us different variations of this one with the following additions and/or adjustments. 1. Can you make the phones/dog tags look more prominent...make them bigger..brighter..shiny?...they mix with the background too much. 2. Can you try different backgrounds...currently you have the camo...can you try white or black..or something else...the camo is taking away from the dog tag phones.
I am glad to see you want to go the dog tag route. The eagle was a great idea, but I fear it won't be as powerful and eye-catching at all sizes. Here are some new options, per your last requests: #56, #57, #58, #59, #60. Let me know what you think!
Can you make this logo where it only says "Prepaid Wireless Locator"
Can you also make some that say "Prepaid Wireless Store Locator"
Can you try putting the green camo background inside the rings we attached (or a green one similar).
Can you make the dog tags even bigger...so they even slightly overhang the below circle getting real close to the words "prepaid wireless locator". I want to add some depth to this logo.
The bottom line is most people can't tell the dog tags are phones...this is a very important element of the logo we want to emphasize...so whatever you can do to make those dog tags maintain the look of a dog tag but also can be recognized as phones. Maybe try making them look like white iphones, or put iphone icons on the screen of the phone, but behind the $ signs....these are all just ideas. Hopefully you can make it happen.

I still have to get the camo versions done, but I will be heading out soon for my ball game. Here are revised versions without the camo though: #61, #62
I added the signal, wi-fi, clock and battery to the top portion. And then I added the bottom apps that pop-up when you double tap your phone. This way, we can still have the "$" big in the middle!
I should be able to have the camo ones posted later when I get back.
And here are versions using the green hues of camo from your attachment: #63, #64 I think I like the camo versions better, as it adds more to the army feel, but let me know what ya think. Thanks!
We are so close to what we want. I have shown this logo to many people...and the most confusion comes with the cell phone dog tags...first...they didn't look enough like cell phones...now they look like cell phones but everybody says there is something "off" with the cell phones...but its hard to pinpoint.
Let me give you an example of a phone that we like...another logo tournament of ours...http://autorefill.com...go check out the logo...you will see the cell phone in the middle of the logo...try to use that cell phone...it is immediately identifiable as a cell phone but maintains the overall feel we are looking for to also maintain the dog tags look. Please see what you can do with this.
Also, try it without the $ signs.
So, once we work on this cell phone more we will be done. We are so close.

Can I see this one without the words inside?
And can i see one that keeps the words "quality" and "service"...but are more prominent and also looks more like the text bubbles that you see on all iphones for text threads.
We had a vote and everybody in the organization liked the logo with the words inside the phone better....so I actually ranked the wrong logo #1...please package the logo with the words in it.
Actually, if I would have known this I would have had you make more adjustments...because even though they liked the words in the phones...they didn't like how the words looked. I was trying to think of a graphical representation of something that could go inside the phones...I was trying to think of something that visually represented "locator"...like a cell tower or something...I dont know. Maybe you can think of something.
Maybe a "Pin" from Google Maps or similar mapping system would be cool...I dont know.
Also, what font did you use for the "Prepaid Army" There are places on our website where I just want it to say "Prepaid Army"...but I want to maintain a consistent font.

lol...one more thing...can you try using the "Pin" on top of a globe..maybe half of a glove flush against the bottom of the screen? Also, can you put the iphone dialpad that is used in a real iphone on the back screen?
And can I see a version where there is no camo...we think if we make the phones "too busy" the camo will really make it busy....but we just want to see it.
