Colors associated with clean and beautiful nature, possibly what you see when you look at a mountain range that has snow and blue skies and/or elements of natural foods.

Ideally a logo with some kind of mountains or natural food (think berries or vegetables) in the image is preferred, however feel free to try out other creative ideas that get the get the message across.

Another idea could involve an animal, such as a deer/antelope, eagle/hawk or maybe even something bold like a Cougar, or some combination of these elements together. If you are going for a primitive/primal feel, please do not use the image of a crude caveman in a loin cloth, although that is popular in some paleo branding it's not for us. A better option along that line would be a figure more like aboriginal or american indian, but not with details. Paleo is related to hunter-gatherer societies so that kind of feel might also work very well.

We are a natural foods store, and it would
be very beneficial if our logo got that message across. One good choice would be some kind of berries,
such as strawberries, blueberries, cherries, etc that also show some green leaves/vine. Coconut is also
good as are vegetables. They could also be part of a logo with mountains as well. The mountains are not critical.

Wild flowers would be a nice touch, especially with a mountain image. Also a strong animal image such as an Eagle or other bird of prety could go well with mountains to illustrate the "wild" in wild mountain and the survival struggle that humans faced all those years ago.

A colorful sunflower(s) would also be a nice touch, since they double as wild flowers and food from the seeds. If using food imagery it would be best to stay away from root vegetables such as carrots as they are not really part of the paleo diet. Coconuts are very strongly associated with Paleo, as well as nuts and seeds.

I'd like to see the design have some kind of blend of clean/fresh along with something a little primitive/tribal. Take a look at some Australian Aborginal artworks perhaps as an inspiration. It's colorful and very organic/earthy. Living a Paleo lifestyle is about the best of today's modern world combined with the way humans evolved over two million years, so if possible the logo should express elements of both. The font choice could have a big impact to achieving this goal.
