I would like to see more logos that bring out the idea of GPS, global positioning system.
My company helps small biotech companies. The clients are in a difficult regulatory environment. I help them make a plan for their experiments and help them navigate the regulatory environment so that their drug will be approved. In a sense, I am their pathfinder. I choose the path for their Research and Development, then I implement the plan to keep them on that path.

The client is asking to extend the contest to allow more of you to participate. Only a few designers have participated so far.

Preclinical GPS
My company helps small biotechnology companies determine which experiments need to be conducted, and then helps with the execution and interpretation of those experiments. This series of experiments is very complicated and detailed. And the series of experiments needs to be done in a specific order and sequence. There are many choices in which experiments need to be run and when they need to be run.
When my company determines which experiments to complete, plans the experiments, and delivers the series of experiments, we show the client biotechnology company where to go, how to get there, and what to do at each step. We help the client move through the complicated steps of the experiments similar to how a GPS system helps automobile drivers find their way on roads. In effect, we are the client companies GPS system. We help the client company find its way on the complicated path through research and development.
A GPS system is an electronic tool that provides an electronic map to travelers so that a traveler knows where to turn and when to turn so that they arrive at their destination.

What do I want for GPS? Well, I am not the creative one. That said, I am looking for a logo that symbolizes the following:
direction
a path forward
getting from here to there
science (if possible)

I like the block letters.
