Powergrid International Ltd.Logo Design Contest

To give you more info, our company concentrates in high to extra high voltage electric power transmission. We design transmission lines which transmit electrical energy from power plants to substatiions near populated areas. It would be preferable if the logo implies what we are doing.

The logo should contain "Powergrid International" (The "Ltd" is not needed).

So far, I like the thunder and the globe idea in #6. I like #7's font.

So far, I like the lightning (represents high voltage electricity) and the globe (represents "international") idea of #12. It also looks professional and trustable.

The #15 also looks good with the blue/orange circle with a lightning inside. However, the globe in #12 is easier to convey "international". That is how I look at the current top two designs.

So far, a lot of good ideas are coming. I really like the top four designs (#12, #17, #32, #33). The fifth one (#27) has potential; but we prefer white background. Any way, they all look awesome. Keep coming.
