Pointe Capital Management, LLCLogo Design Contest

Glendon, I think the prominence of "POINTE" is too strong in all entries. Item #5 looks too much like a pine tree.

To all designers: your work is terrific and I really appreciate the creativity. Here is one comment that I would like to make to everyone.

"Pointe Capital Management" needs to be all the same size lettering because each word in the name is critical to our image. I am thinking for purposes of the stationery, business cards, web site, etc. Because there are 13 letters in "Pointe Capital" and 13 letters in "Management LLC", perhaps you can work with that. Once we get the name presentation satisfied, we will refine the logo itselt and rank our preferences. The logos are excellent!

I like the logo as presented in #62, #71 and #20. I like the way the name is presented in #26, #11, #74, #71. Can the two be integrated? Can you work with letter style, font and boldness of name for a better presentation?

We have edited "My Brief" particularly in the area of style and concept. Because we really don't know much about your business, we may have lead you in the wrong direction initially. Take a look at the changes. A large number of entries have very strongly emphasized the word "POINTE" and that is not our intention. We aim to have "Pointe Capital Management" similarly emphasized. Plus, we have found that the bold colors which we did not mention, actually come off very well . Hope this helps!

How would you include a third 'door' in your design? Also, place 'Pointe Capital' together on one line, de-emphasizing 'Pointe's prominence. Thanks.
