Thank you for your early entries. A couple quick comments on the following: #9 I like this relationship of elements. Can you try a different typeface for PMC, such as maybe the one used in #13. I think I would like to see the "M" more vertically linear.
#12 is also an interesting variation of logo to tie together with PMC. Can you try lightening up the gradation in PMC a little more that matches gradation of long streaks where the whites get a little whiter. Will probably have to revise and use a lighter version of PMS 2613 in order to read COMMUNICATIONS better against black. Could just try taking COMMUNICATIONS white also or almost white.
#14 Keep this same relationship of elements. Try a different typeface for PMC.
#46 though I like the arrangement it is too similar to the parent company layout by having the logo on top. looks good but will move this one to "not interested"
I like quite a few of the lower case "pmc" that you have done and have moved a few next to each other to analyze side by side. will probably narrow down tomorrow morning. It's midnight here and have to sign off shortly.
I am definitely gravitating towards your lowercase applications of "pmc" the best like #48, #52, #53, #49, #51, etc. I am currently grouping these together in the Ranking column so I can see similar concepts side by side and then pick some to narrow down. Stick with purple, gray, black and white for now so not to make a ton of variations at this point. I'm mostly looking at layout/concept first, narrowing down to favorites within designers and then we could always see what applying another splash of color might do. You must be the only one that looked up Paradigm Media because I see you picked up the lime green color in #50 :)
I really appreciate you keeping me advised. Glad you like the lower case. Yes, I did go to website and I love the contrast of the green against the black and purple.
I'm trying to narrow down which composition I like best with the lowercase pmc. Not worry about color intensity or choices yet. I left #50 unranked right now since it has additional colors because I don't want to move to "not interested" column as of yet until I get to final color application on just a couple logos.
The size relationship of the logo to pmc looks good to me in #52 and #49, but #53 it seems a little small. It might be because of the weight that the san serif face applies to the overall look. Can you try slightly enlarging the logo on #53? Maybe enough that to 2 black bar in the top right corner are even with the "x" height of the "p"? Or any other recommendation you would have.
I'm getting a head start on what my requests will be in Top 5 phase.
1. Can I see #49 with COMMUNICATIONS in PMS 2613? 2. If you were to apply lime green to this logo in some manner, how would you do it? I've already seen your concept if on black. 3. Could you also take #49 and put on black background but stick with purple/white and/or gray on black in some manner?
I'm going to end the contest and your logo #134 has been selected to rank #1. Told you the top 3 logos was still a loose ranking :) I had written this in a post after I did the brief because I could find a please to request something more than a .eps file.
Could I please have the logo in .eps, .jpg and also the .ai files?
Also, could I have the same 3 file types (.eps, .jpg, .ai) with the application as it would appear on a black background the way you did #140. On the website we are probably going to go with a black header and treat the logo in this manner.
If you would be so kind and also email these logos to jason@paradigmmedia.com. I will be out of the country starting Sunday 6/24 at about 2pm and if I haven't been able to forward a download message to Jason he also has the login information and could go in to approve and download the files. A direct email to him would be a backup ;)
Thank you for a great version of the logo that still relates to the parent company. Oh, btw I still did opt to remain with a 2C logo for applications where 3C would be more expensive.
