As I explore more options based on your suggestions...could you clarify something for me please? Are you thinking of actually printing your logo in a brown square on letterhead, business cards, etc....as it is shown in your #2 selection?
I believe that would require printing in a 4-color process. The other option is to print a Brown PMS color...but that would certainly flatten out the look.
I'm just trying to get a feel as to whether you just like the look of the presentation of the white on gradient brown background...or, if the brown box is something you want as part of your overall logo.
Solid brown background. this would allow your logo to print in only 2 ink colors. the brown...and yellow. I hesitate adding a fancy, gradated background for practical purpses. It would require printing all of your materials in 4-color process. It looks great on-screen...but will appear differently when broken out into 4-color CMYK for printing.
I am finding myself hesitating going too dark with the background....as I want to keep the overall feeling of lightness and hope. Going too dark begins to feel heavy to me...which doesn't feel like a fit for your target audience.
Also to note: The shades of brown will appear different depending on how you have your monitors calibrated. Just uploading them makes them look different from my original art (because it becomes an RGB representation of a PMS ink color.) Rest assured...when it comes to selecting just the right brown...any printer can show you ink swatches so you can make sure it is perfect for you prior to printing.
What fonts are #300 and #296? I like both of these. As for the brown, yeah, I guess we would place the logo in a brown rectangle and then probably position the address/contact info in a white rectangle to the right (in brown font). But this is just an idea we're playing with at the moment. Can you try #295 in the two fonts you used for #300 and #296? I think I like the font in #300 most of all. Thanks!
Sorry, I know this is the weekend and now regret having the contest scheduled to end on a sunday night. That was actually a miscalculation on my part, Oops. We like the font in #300 best. Can there be a little more spacing between the letters? Also, can this font be made any lighter? We particularly love the 'a' in 'Plumeria'. Anyway, leep having a nicce weekend and only work on this if you find a little spare time. TY!
Great. #321 is definitely what we were looking for! Thank you.
The update is that this design is in a close heat with maxk's #291. I'm still gathering opinions from more people and ultimately the final decision will be mine.
I am drawn to the palette used in #150, which matches the decor inside the clinic. If you want to play around some with some variations, based on #321, the result may blow everyone away. Anwyay, thanks for everything. If you don't win this contest, I will definitely want to compensate you somehow for your efforts. We can talk about that later. Ciao
Hey hey hey. Looks pretty much decided. I'll make it official after I get a good night's sleep. So I can tell my interior designer to match one of the accent walls to this color, what color is the pictoral mark you used in #383? You certainly earned this victory! Congrats!
