Not sure yet about the stylized garlic. Sometimes I think it looks great and sometimes I think it looks like a flame. Not sure if messing with the color or the shape might do something. Thanks for submitting this. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer no problem. Thanks for the feedback. I will work on it for you. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer here is a revised version.(This comment references Entry #7) 14 years ago ckudrna Client Definitely more like a garlic than a flame -- good change. We're having a debate -- entry #7 is professional, simple & clean. But we're not sure it signals the family farm enough -- haven't decided yet. Thanks for the revised version. 14 years ago ckudrna Client We'd really like to see a couple more garlic bulb choices along the lines of what you are doing. If you have any more thoughts, we'd welcome them. We like this concept. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer another variation for your consideration.(This comment references Entry #10) 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer a more versatile emblem for use on the various mediums you mentioned.(This comment references Entry #11) 14 years ago ckudrna Client These are really great! We like the garlic shape in entry 10 a lot and wonder how it would look if used in entry 7 (without the swirl and with a touch of green). We are also wondering how 10 would look with larger and/or bolder words. We're not sure if we want a touch of green added to 10. I think some combination of 7 and 10 is going to work great -- Thanks!!p.s. Entry 12 is interesting and we appreciate the comparison -- we like the open design of 7 and 10 better. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer thanks again for the feedback. Here are some revisions.(This comment references Entry #21) 14 years ago ckudrna Client We like the three-color designs. We prefer the font in entry 21 and how you made Plum Creek stronger. The word garlic should perhaps be a little stronger also. We like the 'horizontal' shadow too. We're starting to like the 'circle' less in entries 10 and 22. We think entry 21 'pops' and we like that. We have a preference for the slightly lighter shading on the garlic in entry 10 but will have to see if it still pops for us if you do that in 21. My wife and I are having a debate about the purple 'tips' on the garlic next to the green shoots -- she likes them but I think they should be a little shorter. Thanks for creating these for us! 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer Great Feedback. Here are two revisions. Both have all the changes made but I have shortened the purple ends on one to give you a look at that.(This comment references Entry #35) 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer and I slightly altered the shadowing to give it a more effective 3d look(This comment references Entry #36) 14 years ago ckudrna Client My wife is not here so the shorter purple ends on #36 definitely work for me! I don't know why for sure, but I like the horizontal shadowing more than the 3d look -- somehow the horizontal shadowing makes it seem like the garlic is sitting above or on the wording and it ties the whole look together for me. Can we try a larger lettering size on Plum Creek and Garlic to see how that looks? Thanks again! 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer I see what you mean by the shading. Here is the revision you wanted.(This comment references Entry #41) 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer a richer pallet.(This comment references Entry #42) 14 years ago ckudrna Client Hello Biink, very recent customer feedback unfortunately confirms my fear that they think green shoots coming out of the garlic means it is just about ready to be thrown out. Your designs without green have consistently looked the best. Could you make these four sets of changes, please? First, on #10, could you make the wording match what you did on #42 and shrink the two little tops of the garlic to look similar to #42 also? Second, on #12 could you also change the garlic tops to shrink them a little and replace the word 'fine' with 'local'. I'm assuming we could arrange to buy this is a second logo from you but want to confirm that. Third, #53 has been a 'sleeper' for us meaning it could become our first choice if it somehow 'popped' a little more -- somehow more striking. We need the green dropped and the words to become bolder as on #42 but not necessarily the same font. Finally, on #42 could you drop the green. I know these are a lot of changes but really appreciate the chance to look at them as soon as possible. We have consistently liked your varied and interesting designs. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer Thanks again for your consideration. I have prepared the variations you were after. I am happy to sell you any additional logos you may be after and would gladly look after you with respect to price if I charge at all. Hope this is everything. Let me know how you go.(This comment references Entry #102) 14 years ago ckudrna Client I think you succeeded very well with #104 -- could you maybe try putting the letters in garlic just a little tiny bit closer together and making them a little bolder to see what that looks like. But that's it -- the shading is very nice! And entry #103 looks nice however the two background garlic in #12 were a little stronger and we liked that or perhaps another way to put it -- all three garlic in #12 were more 'equal' in coloring (not size of course). If there was any way to just copy the three garlic in #12 and put them in #103 that would be finished also. Thanks! p.s. How many hours apart are we? I'm posting this around 8:30PM Central time USA. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer It is about 3pm here in Victoria Australia. I will have these back to you ASAP. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer here are those two more.(This comment references Entry #106) 14 years ago ckudrna Client Hello Biink, looks like you are 7 hours earlier than we are (except probably the next day if I'm getting it right). Anyway, nice job on #107, that's done as are #102 and #105. We like what you did with the lettering on #104 and took the night to sleep on it but have decided we prefer the 'cleaner' look of the two lines without the shading in the middle. In other words #104 is done except we don't want the shading, back to the look of #53 but without the green and using the lettering and spacing of #104. We are going to want more than one. You've done this before -- should we send you a private message to discuss this or is this comment method OK? Thanks, this is great work! 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer I will submit these two variations and if you are happy and close off your contest I can then pass on my details to discuss the other designs with you. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions and again the consistent feedback has been great so thanks. 14 years ago Biink Design Logo Designer here's that design you were after.(This comment references Entry #108) 14 years ago
