... it's "PI Experiential Learning", no "The" on the front. But the inclusion of that name is very helpful to explain (at least in part) who we are, and where the name comes from.
we like the swoopy thing in #56 and the building blocks in # 78. can you make the swoop out of the blocks? in other words, curve the arc of the blocks coming into #78 (but be careful not to make it look like a meteorite entering the atmosphere).
also, can you try to warm up the colors a bit? you had some green going on earlier, and you might try some other colors. we're torn among our partners on whether blue and black are too cold. thanks
Thanks for the changes, we figured out why we like #56. The swoopy thing adds action, and the action is something like: “we put you, the participant, inside the Xperience” or “the participant plays the key part in creating the PIXL experience” or something like that. It’s catching the idea that the PIXL experience is different for each person, depending on what they bring into it.
But now we're thinking starting to worry about the colored blocks in the "swoop". We're afraid they look like pixels coming together, which is something we want to avoid. Maybe instead of just squares, they were more like a bunch of simple graphic people (circle face w/ a rectangle under) that evolves into one "X" person in the PIXL name. That's more in line with what we're about - bringing people together in teams.
And whatever changes you make, please do a blue/black, green/black, and yellow/black version, and feel free to try other colors. We're still trying to hone in on our tastes.
We're still not there with the colors, and unfortunately we're unable to say exactly why. The blue and black is a little too cold, and although we like the green better we don't know if the X should pop out like that. Can you try it with all the letters the same color? Maybe a muted gray or green or yellow-orange or whatever you like. Or perhaps change the color of the swoopy thing? The other thing we're still not getting is the idea of integrating people in teams. A lot of the more recent designs looked too pixelated; we need some other way to convey the idea. Maybe a network or strings weaving together somehow...
