#3: the font is better, but could be thicker/bigger; add "Pittsburgh" above "Prospects"; remove picks (the term "prospects" is meant to mean "a likely candidate/player for a job or position" ... not a prospector who mines; the placement of "est. 1992" is better; baseball bats, balls, etc are encouraged; I'm not sold on this particular pirate... do you have any other options?

Thanks.

Sure can make additional comps will remove the picks and will make the font a bit thicker. As far as the pirate is concerned would something more rugged be in order or something more clean. like a clean cut pirate sort of speak.

#3: you may be on the right track with making the pirate a younger, more "clean cut" pirate to signify a younger player/prospect that will eventually get traded anyway. Thanks.

#8: I guess in theory the younger pirate was a good idea, but I don't think its working; make "Pittsburgh" smaller and in same font, colors as "Prospects"; making the font thicker didn't really help either (my fault); center "est. 1992" and remove banner, as I think its too much for the logo. Overall, the logo should closely mimic the Pittsburgh Pirates logo/colors/font as humanly possible without falling into trademark issues. Thanks.

Just a note on number #3 reasoning behind the picks was not in reference to a prospector but more in reference to the pirates ball club being gold diggers. as mentioned in the brief where they make millions in profits but do nothing for the community.
