Discussion

I like the prominent featuring of the house and trees, the overall shape, and the rich colors. The overall shape would translate well to a sign as well as a logo for web and print.

Things that could be improved: The change in font makes it seem like the word "farm" is not emphasized as much as the other parts and the location of Ltd seems like it can be read Pioneer Hill Ltd. Farm. The property is more of a split-rail fence than white fence (in rear).

The overall feel is very classic/traditional, but the vibrant colors make it seem like something fresh/new/exciting.

I like the addition of the chickens and the change in placement of the "ltd".

A few things I'm wondering:
1. Is it possible to add another tree behind the chickens, in front of/to the side of the large tree?
2. Could the border (outside shape of the design) be a bit simpler?
3. I like the prominence of the words, but would it be possible to have them similarly visible with a font that is not quite as fat?

Thank you for your recent and continued entries!

We like the "zoomed in" entries that feature the house a bit more prominently and the more narrow letters, which are still very clearly visible. Also the border (outside shape) is simpler and a bit more to our tastes, yet still a bit too fancy. A bit more simple would still be preferred.

We prefer the lettering in #14, but ranked #16 higher because of the larger house.

We like the overall shape of #21 the best so far of your designs. Thanks for submitting a new option, also, designs #25 and #26. We prefer the red to the peach color. It's great for us to see some different style options and in this case we prefer your original overall concept.

Thanks for submitting so many great entries. We were wondering what #21 would look like if the house were a red with a bit more brown in it (darker red, burnt red, reddish brown), and the red in the lettering changed to match a darker red house. Also, could the dots on either side of "Pioneer Hill" be made into bees?

Thanks for so many great entries throughout the process! It's very difficult to decide between your classic design and the more open design of #56 and variations. They are both very strong but different options. We're polling friends and family for feedback regarding what would be best for our target market and intended logo uses to help us in our decision.

Regardless, we have greatly appreciated your responsiveness to requests and your prolific ideas!
