Hi, I rally like your designs, but I'm not sure how difficult it would be to print on our race shirts. Could your simplify the colors so they don't blend together so much. If not for that, I would have ranked yours first.
Thank you for the comment. It depends on the technology used for printing. In most cases the price depends on the colors used - monochrome (1 color), 2 colors, many colors. If there are more than 2 colors in most cases there is no problem in printing even if there are blends like in my design. I'll supply edited version with simpler colors for you but you can still ask the printing house how they need the logo for printing and if there are difference in prices.
The correct spelling of the event is actually, "Pikes Peek" as in to "view" Rockville Pike. Can you make the adjustment to the spelling as well? Thanks!
I've submitted more versions - solid colors only, no gradients. If the guys at the printing house need those even more simple .. it's just a quick mod. Last one entry: #49
Hi, Talked to the printers and they said no problem. Like #46 the best, any chance you could add the trees from #34 to that design. Also, a few of the runners helping did not care for the section with the stars. Any chance you could change that to incorporate something spring like. A bit of green would be great. thanks
Done - #83. What a beauty, isn't it? I am a runner myself and this is the kind of logo I can pour my soul into. I rather prefer uphill sprints (because those keep the joints safe and still I get all the sprinting benefits).
Hi, the spelling of pEak is incorrect for us. In our race it is Peek. We are a net downhill race, and since most of our races are very hilly, this one is a welcome change. Lots of folks like to race it and pr! Thanks
#121 - in grayscale directly converted. Though it could be specially prepared for greyscale but right now I don't have access to the working files (that's why I cannot fix the PeAk mistake).
