thanks for your submission. I like the overall design, but it lacks references to Italy, phpDay should be spelled with a capital D and honestly I'd think at twitter by looking at the logo.
Hi Robbert, thanks for the new designs. For now I like #26 the most among your entries. It'd be interesting to see how it looks with the ellipse shaped flag of #27 in the background, but slightly stretched to match the official php logo. Maybe with a hint of stroke to bring a bit more focus (like you did in #28).
thanks for your new entries and sorry for the delay in our comments. #51 is our favourite among your designs and I do quite like it. There's some room for improvements and some said that the flag makes the ellipse resemble a rugby ball. Maybe rotating the ellipse (like in our old logo) or slanting the flag inside it could help. It's just a few ideas, I'm not sure if they are useful or not.
Also, we will probably have two different logo versions (flat colours for print and gradient for web), so it would be interesting to see how a printable version might look.
