#1 A bit to "business" like. The logo has to say "Hey you, come play with me. :) Touch me, you know you want to!" Hope that makes sense. :) I'm thinking a bit more curvy, round stuff in the logo. (sorry for my poor English-skills). :)

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

#3 Not loving the font "Photomeetup". But nice font on the "Copenhagen" though. And I'm not sure what to think of the illustration left of the text... Again, I think rounder - more softness. :)

#4/#5: Nice! I like the round feeling you get when you look at it. Not loving the "aperture" logobit though. A loooot of photo-logos have that as an important part.

#1: I like the idea that I can use the three "colorful balls" as an independend logo. For example on a t-shirt, a mug... An easy to recognize thing.

#11: I like the squares actually! Cool job! And I like "Copenhagen". What I like not so much is the word "Photomeetup". I kinda lacks the same quality-feel that the other ingredients have.

#6: Can you make this one on a black background as well?

#23: It's that kinda logo I'm looking for. Round, pleasant, happy - you wanna grab it and touch it. :) I like the white stroke around the text. Maybe the "meetup" grey text is a liiiittle bit of. I dont love the steel feel of it too much.

#24/#25: I actually love these! But they also remind me a bit too much of StarBucks. :)

#16: A little too much use of the aperture logo.

#17, #19, #20, #21: I like them. I just like there brother #23 even more. :)

#14, #15: I almost like these. But I cant seem to understand the "logo"? The colors are not my favorite combi either.

Hi Michael,
Please note that every designer has his own feedback section (just click on the comments link under each design preview). This way you can leave feedback and suggestions in more private way.
If you want to give general guidelines for all designers use this Contest Discussion section.

P.S. Is not a problem if you continue to give personal feedback is this public comments section.
Thanks!

ake: Yeah, I noticed after the last comment (that I can do it private). :) But yes, I will continue to leave more general things here. :)

Dear Michael,

I'd like to know about this event... Is it more a party or is it more a meeting for photo shoots?

Hey Dalmas,

It's what we photographers call a meetup. A lot of photographers and models meet on a location, and then we mix up in teams, and shoot a loooot of pictures. We do it for fun, to network and to learn from eachother.

Last year 250 people turned up, so it's Denmarks biggest of it's kind. :)

Hope that answered your question. If not, please do not hesitate to ask again. :)

If you want to see a video from last years event, and maybe get a better idea on how to shape the logo, you can check it out here: http://photomeetup.dk/?p=42

You dont have to write "aarhus" and "odense" in the logo. I prefer you dont actually. Sorry, should have stated that in the updated brief. :)
