I like the fact that you're getting creative on fonts and typography :D!
Maybe the color should be more simple to match Facebook's simplicity.
And it would be great if you can express more about "filter effect".

Instagram and CrossProcess are iPhone apps that adds "filter effects" to pictures taken with iPhone.
Filter effects is a concept that adds a layer to photos to change the taste and the look.

Photocoat, our Facebook app, is trying to bring the idea and concept of "filter effect" to Facebook, which allows users to add filter effects to their photos with 1-click on Facebook.

I am full of ideas, this is an inspirational contest for me. If you think taht some of my ideas can be in the right way but need some improvment just ask for it directly and I will try to do it. Also may be crossing the elements of several concepts?

We want you to play around with font/typography more!
Try to "Be simple, but playful."

As you can see, the logos above are simple, and is focusing on typography.
But at same time, it has playful design, without losing the simplicity.
(They also have simple and playful icon!)

Please stay simple, but play around with typography!
