I like both of your entries the best. Simple, clean, elegant. Maybe try some different colors (brighter / bolder Green with Purple) or some colors your think would be best. I am open.
What are the DOME's representing? I think i like the single dome version the best.
Lastly, I am NOT too sure about my color selection. I am now thinking about more simple color schemes, like Blue and White, to Red and Black. Green and RED are the universal colors for OIL (GREEN) and GAS (RED). Maybe we should consider these colors or different ones. I trust you opinion, so please make some recommendations.

I recommend you red and blue #85 this is my opinion about color scheme since your business is oil and gas, red represent fire and blood, it's associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. ( oil=energy,power ) blue represent sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven ( gas = sky, wind ) I also recommend you Blue and orange #84. orange is color of the sunshine, associated with intelectual and energy.

1. Same as the Winner, except make the small Oil drop DOME GREEN. Leave the rest alone 2. Make the Red in the Winning LOGO GREEN and leave the other half BLACK.
