Hey SJD, I kind of like where you're going with your design, but it's too early in this contest to say 'yea'. I do like the symbol you drew for human motion, however. I also like the font style, although when first working out what my company's name might look like on a sign, I initially visualized the word 'strength' in caps and bold, and the word 'motion' italicized or cursive. Having said that, I'm not fixated on that look, it's just what I visualized. I also visualized my name written above whatever figure (line drwaing or human form in the circle) in small type like you 'pegged', having a similar radius as the circle below. The black background of #13, though attractive and works well with orange, doesn't work for me.
Hey SJD, would you mind altering #3 in two versions: one with "strength" written as is in lower case, just not italicized, and the other version with the word "strength" written all in upper case? Thanks. PC
#3: I like the icon you used in the circle. If you know what the position of a lunge is, would you try to duplicate a 'lunge' in the same style of the icon used in 3? If I can find a way to upload a photo of me performing one, you'd see what I'm referring to. Thanks.
#34: I like the lunge icon, my partner still prefers the other. #33: We like the upper case font of STRENGTH, but would prefer "In Motion" to be like #32 and cursive or italicized. You pegged the positioning on my name, but make it upper case for the P n C and lower case for the rest; cursive could be cool, too. Thanks!
I am still trying to come up with a nice athletic looking script for "in Motion".... FYI: Using script (cursive) does not look good on a curve, so I will try to come up with another typeface for your name above the circle....
