Number 4 is good but the dog looks a bit like a cartoon. The same applies to the designs I am not interested in....the dog's profile needs to be much stronger. Number 1 and 2 are excellent, but I think the yellows are too bright, almost fluorescent, and might be better as more saturated gold colors. I like the contrast with the dog's outline in the darker blues as opposed to the outline in white.

Number four needs the bottom of the dogs neck fixed up, I like this concept alot but don't like the hard right angle where the jaw and the neck meet, looks odd structurally.
Number seven is also good but I think the dog should face right not left, similar to number three.
Number five I would like if the wording underneath were more bold and stood out a bit more.

Thanks APE, I did not know you could post on each individual page. I will do that from now on. Best to you!

Just a note not meant to judge or sway anyone's ideas - all the submissions so far have great dane images that have cropped ears which a lot of animal activists feel are cruel. I don't know if you have considered that point but I just wanted to mention it as food for thought and it's easy enough for the designers to adjust the ears at this point if you want.

Okay. I only have about 37 entries at this point, which in comparison to a few other contests is kind of weak. If someone out there wants to give me something out of the box that says "dogs" & "Pennsyvania" as well as conveys the image of our organization that would be great. I'm open. Most of our consituents are Dog Clubs whose members own, breed, and trial, work, or show purebred dogs.
