Thank you in advance to all contributors - We are looking forward to seeing exciting ideas and concepts in the days ahead. :-)

To all participating designers - thanks again for your truly inspiring creative work. This is the first logo contest we have participated in - as a result some of our rejections from yesterday were premature. We certainly appreciate all of the effort taken to produces these designs - all of them are excellent. :-)

Wow - So many great entries - It's very difficult to rank them when there is clearly amazing talent producing such great designs.

A rule of thumb for all designers: We prefer "Peer Partners" as two words, but we are open to variations. If you place "Peer Partners" together as one word (i.e. "PeerPartners", "PEERPARTNERS", "peerpartners", etc.), please ensure that the two words are differentiated somehow using different colors, font size, upper/lower case, etc.

Thank you to all of our participants - your ideas are fantastic. :-)

We still have over a week to go; the competition is clearly not over.

It's very difficult to rank one great design over another when so many of them are creative, professional, tasteful, interesting and exciting.

It's apparent that we are leaning towards a bolder, heavier font style for "Peer Partners", as this adds dimension to our record of achievement and success. 3D graphic renderings with lighting/shading effects have been catching our attention recently when the designs are simple and tasteful.

Great work from everyone - thank you. :-)

Once again, we are overwhelmed by the fantastic new ideas and variations submitted by everyone.

We need to stress clearly that although we need to rank these design proposals as part of the tournament process, our preferred choices will almost certainly change over the next 6 days.

As of today, July 22nd, we could select a winner from any of the TOP EIGHT ranked designs.

Some design notes: Although a circular/globe design is currently ranked as our first choice, this is by no means an indication that circles and globes are our only preference - we were delighted to see some new graphic concepts submitted that think outside of the box... (outside of the circle?) ;-)

Thank you for all of your hard work.

Only four hours to go!

We have been overwhelmed with all of your great ideas, concepts and designs - Thanks to everyone for all of your submissions - Your talent and creativity are truly inspiring.

Unfortunately, there are some new designers who have waited until the very last minute to provide their designs. We're not certain if this is some kind of strategy to win the contest by waiting until the very end, but regardless, WE DO NOT APPRECIATE NEW DESIGNERS WAITING UNTIL THE END OF THE CONTEST TO ENTER - This gives us no time to evaluate the designs thoroughly and ask for modifications.

To everyone else, it has been a very difficult task to identify the "best" design, when so many of them could very easily represent our company so very well.

We are very grateful, and look forward to using LogoTournament again in the future.

Thank you. :-)

everymahn,

Please consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest. Also take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914

Thanks, ECC - We were actually just reading that thread linked from another contest as you were posting it [queue the Twilight Zone music]. ;-)

We were not expecting a flurry of new designers submitting completely new concepts within hours of the contest closing.

We will go back and look at our rankings within the precept that points are of value to the design community.

On a completely different note, one of our partners is from New Brunswick. He says "hi", and wants you to send a bucket of lobster stew to New Orleans... ;-)

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our contributors once again for your work. We are very grateful for all of the effort taken to provide us with truly outstanding suggestions, and look forward to sponsoring additional logo design contests in the months ahead.

This was our first attempt at using a design community for sourcing creative work; it was certainly a learning process for all of us.

That being said, a few words of advice to some of the contributors from our Creative Director:

1) In the design business, waiting until the absolute last minute to submit your design proposals sends a message to your customers that deadlines are likely to be missed.

2) Timing is everything - If you wait too long to get your ideas in front of your customers, your competition will have an advantage over you by having their ideas decided upon well before yours.

3) Do not burn bridges - Even if you miss an opportunity for business, burning a bridge by being bitter or angry only guarantees that you will NEVER be considered for future projects. Word of mouth is accelerated exponentially by Internet-based communications. (We're looking at you, and your purposefully-poor last entry, Mogeek)

4) Customers are notoriously unreasonable, illogical, finicky, impatient, and irrational. If this bothers you, get out of the design business. Your customers are paying your bills. If you let your emotions take precedence over servicing your customer, you will never succeed.

5) Take pride and have confidence in your work, regardless of the outcome. Today's rejection can easily be tomorrow's winning entry.

It was truly difficult picking a single winner from all of the amazing contributions. We are very pleased that our winning selection provides Peer Partners with an innovative and creative brand that communicates our abilities to attract and connect target audiences, while supporting the theme that we are partners with our customers.

We look forward to our next tournament, and would like to say a final, heart-felt "thank you!" to the design community.
