I like the modern aspect of #1, but I would have liked to have seen a cross or something to give the idea that the image represents a church. Also, I probably would not use the the logo because it is very similar to another church in our association. You can view their logo at http://www.clearviewbc.com/. As you can see from their's, even though it is similar, anyone can look at the logo and know that it's a church logo. Thanks for your initial design. I like your work.
