I like the direction that #6 and #7 are taking...I'd still like to see some different fonts or effects with the lettering as well...also i like what you are starting to do with the symbol and incorporating two "P's". Do you have any other ideas?
I really like #7 and would like to see some more from you, as i like the direction u are taking.
It is important for me to have the logo be used against both a white and black background. I would almost like to see #7 but with a metallic silver glow like you see in submittal #10.
Also wouldnt' mind seeing more ideas regarding double P usage
I didn't see anything that i like more than #7. I'd like you to play more with that design.
If you look at the following website (www.dbe1.com) you can see what i mean when i say that this logo can be used on both a black background (as shown there) as well as a white background (as shown in the same logo i attached to the brief. I need this to be able to go on both a black and white background. As it stands now, i'd only be able to use #7 on a black background.
Could you play with the colors too. Still keep the basic black, red, silver or white...but im envisioning "Payton" being in red in order to stand out...and perhaps some effects to the text (as well as the "P"s) to make them stand out more. If I could see a few options that would be great...also feel free to include other ideas as i know ill prob be receiving a lot of new submittals in the new couple days.
Hey there...I have uploaded a couple of new versions that will look good both against white and black backgrounds. I think #34 is a bit better that the rest because it is the most simplified design and doesn't take away the attention from the name. If you have any other suggestions or ideas, I'll be happy to do the revisions.
I love everything about it, including the subtle white includsions in the name. If and when I select it to be the winner...can i give you my email address so you can send me three versions of it?
I'm glad you liked it :) It came out great with your suggestions :) As for the additional files you asked for in case you choose this one, they will not be a problem at all. So no worries :)
this might be a dumb question...but when u send these over, they dont have a background right? Like the background is clear and it will just have whatever i put it on as the background?
It depends on the file format. The JPG is a high resolution raster format and has different colored backgrounds, but you might as well get high res PNGs which are with transparent background. So yes the image will not change when you put it against different backgrounds in that case. Web developers usually work with pngs when making sites. However since these two are high resolution raster formats you will be able to use them anywhere, except for large printing works. That is why you also get an .EPS file of the logo. This is a vector format that allows you to edit the design in any graphic program, change colors, size, font, etc. And it is used for printing because there's no loss of quality when you resize the image /which happens when you try to enlarge a JPG file/.
