I may not have explained adequately..

I would like to see an 'a' that looks like a 'd' without the top part of the 'd'.

Explore the same treatment with 'design studio'.

Definitely prefer the colouring of this logo to the other submitted.

Like the continual line typography but think it may flow better if the 'a' as the alternative style. Could the same lettering be explored for the 'design studio' part of the logo?

This design is more symbolic and stylised which is preferred. Still too much of a visual reference to domestic architecture.
I like the colour combination in the logo.

As per previous logo avoid illustrative references to houses.
I like the lower case font. Could the design be less elongated and incorporate the single line concept in the typography?

I like the single line concept to form the icon. Could the single line concept be brought into the typography?
Avoid illustrative references to houses or the tropics (such as palm trees). We will be working across a number of sectors in the building industry and do not want to be mistaken for a home design service.
