Definitely prefer the colouring of this logo to the other submitted.
Like the continual line typography but think it may flow better if the 'a' as the alternative style. Could the same lettering be explored for the 'design studio' part of the logo?
This design is more symbolic and stylised which is preferred. Still too much of a visual reference to domestic architecture.

I like the lower case font. Could the design be less elongated and incorporate the single line concept in the typography?

I would like to see an 'a' that looks like a 'd' without the top part of the 'd'.
