This logo can be easily adjusted to include any type of parrot. The colours are bold and striking and the parrot shape is instantly recognizable. I have taken on board what you said about the logo being obviously Australian.

I like the button logo you have created but the parrot is a macaw - a non Australian species. Please read the brief where I wrote about the parrot needing to look generic or cockatoo like to see if you can alter the image for me. The macaw looks fantastic but is an exotic species unfortunately and not Australian. I like your layout otherwise - its corporate yet casual.

Hope this parrot looks a bit more generic. He looks a bit more friendly too.

Is it possible for you to do a cockatoo image instead? We are ranking them but have passed over yours due to it looking still like a macaw. I really like the simplicity of your design and it works for me in so many applications and media. If you did a cockatoo in the same pose type or similar, I am sure that the committee would be very open to it.

Thanks for your time and creativity...

Thanks for the comments. The head on this parrot isn't as round due to the yellow bit so it cant be contained in the circle as before. However, letting the yellow part step out of the Circle makes the logo more animated I think. I'm still trying to keep it simple as this gives the logo a clean and corporate feel. I think it's important that the parrot is friendly and not too sharp looking. I wanted to steer away from a cartoony look because you need to be taken seriously so i have kept to abstract shapes. The abstract shapes also make the logo versatile so it can be used in black, white and placed on both light and dark backgrounds. This is important seeing as you mentioned that you need to use the logo over a wide variety of media. Hope this is closer to what you asked for.
